If we’re being honest, a JB day trip isn’t just about coming back with bags of snacks and shopping hauls. For many Singaporeans, crossing the Causeway also means squeezing in some affordable self-care, whether that’s a relaxing head spa session or a massage at one of JB’s many wallet-friendly spas.
So before you bookmark another massage spot for your next JB getaway, there’s a new one to keep on your radar. Billion Onsen Johor Bahru, touted as Malaysia’s biggest 24/7 spa, is opening very soon. Here’s what we know so far.
What is Billion Onsen Johor Bahru?

It’s an upcoming wellness spa and sister outlet to Billion Onsen & Aesthetics in KL. While the brand has yet to reveal much about what visitors can expect, the teasers shared on Billion Onsen Johor Bahru’s Instagram are already looking pretty promising.

Expect warm ambient lighting, natural wood finishes, and zen-inspired interiors designed to help you relax the minute you step through the doors.
If the previews are anything to go by, this looks like the kind of place where you could easily lose track of time while unwinding – and with the spa open 24/7, you won’t have to worry about watching the clock.
Fun fact: According to the brand, it’ll be the biggest 24-hour spa in Malaysia.
What’s available at Billion Onsen Johor Bahru?

Billion Onsen Johor Bahru has yet to reveal its full service menu at the time of writing. However, it’s safe to assume it’ll offer similar services as its KL outlet, including head spas, facials, as well as body and foot massages.
Beyond the treatments themselves, the KL branch also comes equipped with facilities like locker rooms, showers, saunas, a salt room, and onsen baths, so there’s a good chance these will make their way to the JB outlet too.

The brand has also been teasing parts of the new space on social media, and eagle-eyed viewers might have spotted what looks to be a jacuzzi.

One perk that regulars at the KL outlet seem to love is that free-flow food is included with your spa admission. Past visitors have shared photos of meals served during their visit, with options like fish and chips, noodles, sandwiches, fresh fruit, and other light bites.
When will the JB outlet open?

Billion Onsen Johor Bahru is set to open in August 2026, although an exact date has not been announced yet. The brand did mention in a reply to an IG comment that the official date will be revealed soon, so keep an eye on their socials.
Where will the JB outlet be located?

It’ll be located along Jalan Harimau. One of the easiest landmarks to look out for is KSL City Mall – the spa is just a 2-minute drive or around a 6-minute walk away.
It’s also only a 3-minute walk from Holiday Plaza, so you can pop by after getting your hair or nails done.
