It seems like there’s a new cafe in Singapore popping up every week, so we’re definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to finding new places to get our caffeine and brunch fix. But with so many options, cafes are starting to get more creative in hopes of standing out from the crowd.
One of them is The Ma-Thrift Bro Club, a home-based business that combines affordable matcha and thrift shopping under one roof, giving you a new budget third space option to unwind at.
What is The Ma-Thrift Bro Club?

The Ma-Thrift Bro Club is a home-based matcha cafe which also doubles as a thrift store. It all started as an idea by 2 friends, Jason and Gilbert, who wanted to make high-quality matcha affordable for all. They eventually brought the idea to life in May 2026, opening the cafe out of Jason’s house in Kembangan.
While the space is only open on weekends, you can still make online orders with The Ma-Thrift Bro Club throughout the week, with both self-collection and delivery options available.
Since opening their business, the pair has turned the place into a weekend hangout spot where visitors get to enjoy homemade drinks in a laid-back and cosy environment.
What can you expect at the cafe?
Matcha & toast all under $10

The Ma-Thrift Bro Club offers a selection of over 30 drinks, ranging from matcha lattes to fruity beverages, all of which are below $10. If you’re looking for creamy, hand-whisked matcha, the Sea Salt Matcha Latte (from $5.50) and Jason’s Favourite (from $6.50) are popular recommendations from regular customers.
Drinks aren’t all they serve. For those looking for a snack to go along with their iced matcha, they also offer toast with Kaya Butter, Gula Melaka, or Butter Sugar, all priced at $4.50.
The cafe also releases new drink series for seasonal occasions, with the latest being Mid-Autumn Festival-inspired drinks, available until 25th October 2026. This line-up includes the Yam Series and the Red Bean Series, giving customers a chance to try flavours not on the usual menu.
Browse through second-hand goods

While you’re waiting for your drink to be made, take a look around the thrift corner and browse through the selection of second-hand pieces, most of which came from the owners’ own collections.
From pre-loved clothes to vintage trinkets, take the time to explore the assortment of pre-owned goods, and you just might find something to add to your style.
Bring your furry companions along

You don’t leave your fur buddies behind either, as The Ma-Thrift Bro Club also welcomes pets to the cafe. Make sure to bring them along if you’re dropping by the cafe; you might even find other pet lovers while you’re there.
They even have pet food for purchase, so don’t forget to get your furry friends a treat while you get your dose of caffeine.
