Sanrio Superstar Boutique at USS
We witnessed our yellow-lovin’ Minion pals arrive at Universal Studios Singapore just last year, and this year, the park has adorable new tenants once again. ICYMI, you can now see your fave Sanrio characters at the Superstar Boutique, which officially opened at USS on 29th April 2026.
The store features a pretty pink cafe that’s connected to a spacious merch shop, where visitors can purchase everything from Sanrio ears to USS-exclusive plushies. Here’s everything to look out for, prices included!
Sanrio-themed pastries from $9.50

If you’re looking for a sweet treat in between park rides, Superstar Cafe’s kawaii pastries are sure to satisfy. While the mini cafe doesn’t serve mains, you’ll find desserts like cakes, swiss rolls and bombolone; alongside refreshing beverages like slushies and lattes.

The most affordable drink here is a basic $8 americano or latte, and pastries start at $9.50 for a bombolone.

The Cinnamoroll bombolone comes with an apple cinnamon filling.
There are 5 flavours of bombolone to choose from – blueberry, mango, strawberry, raspberry, and apple cinnamon – each in the colour of their corresponding characters Kuromi, Pompompurin, My Melody, Hello Kitty, and Cinnamoroll.

But if you’re the kind of person whose camera eats first, you’ll want to get the My Melody and Kuromi Swiss Rolls ($10), which come with lychee and black sesame cream filling respectively.

To wash down your desserts, the cafe sells slushies ($11.50) and various types of coffee with character latte art, like Pompompurin Caramel Latte ($10 hot, $11 cold) and Cinnamoroll Vanilla Latte ($10 hot, $11 cold). If you’re planning to buy both a snack and drink, be sure to opt for the $18 set meal.
Shop Sanrio merch from under $10

Connected to the cafe is Superstar Boutique’s merch area, an equally pretty pink-and-white-themed space with racks dedicated to different Sanrio characters.

Theme park merch isn’t typically the cheapest, but we did find relatively reasonably-priced goods here like Hello Kitty fabric badges for $9, as well as keychains and socks for $12.

Sanrio ears – a quintessential theme park accessory – cost $25, and you’ll get to sport Cinammoroll and Pompompurin’s fluffy puppy ears, Hello Kitty’s cat ears, or Kuromi’s iconic black jester’s hat. To complete your fit, character tees cost $40.

For more practical stuff, we found bottles for $20, plus handy accessories like large clips ($15), and claw clips ($20).

Of course, the most attractive items here were definitely the colourful Sanrio plushies, which range from around $35 to $50.

You’ll find multiple shelves packed to the brim with your fave toys, and our personal faves include these Hello Kitties cosplaying as different characters.

BTW, look out for “thrill deals” near the front of the boutique for some steals up to 50% off!
Cop USS-exclusive merch

For a souvenir to commemorate your park visit, look out for the shelves displaying royal blue merch. These are the USS exclusives, and feature our fave characters donning blue dresses and accessories.

The USS Sanrio keychains start at $28, and we also found dainty necklaces, bracelets and earrings ranging from $20 to $30.
Enter Sanrio land at the new Superstar Boutique at USS

While we might not have an actual Sanrio land at USS just yet, the Superstar Boutique will give Sanrio fans a lil’ serotonin boost the next time you visit the park. P.S. – Look out for character meet-and-greets at the store too!
