Temasek Shophouse is no stranger to hosting eco-centric events, and one’s coming our way in the form of Green-House Festival 2026. It’s one of the largest celebrations of sustainability and conscious living in Singapore, and it’ll be debuting its first-ever day-to-night edition.
The festival’s marketplace features an impressive 74 participating brands, and you’ll be able peruse sustainable finds such as beauty and bath products, children’s toys, clothes, home decor, and jewellery. As for food, there’s the Eat Your Scraps (from $38) experience to try out; it’s a 3-6 course vegan or pescatarian meal that’s made entirely from food waste.
There’ll also be various workshops (from $10) to have a go at, such as a Herbal Dehumidifier Making activity, Woodcraft Jewellery Workshop, and even a Pup-Friendly Chendol class. Speaking of pets, Paws of JB will be introducing visitors to rescued dogs looking for loving homes, and feathered personalities will be flaunting their colours at the Parrot Society’s booth.

Those popping by Holland Village over the weekend will be in for a treat, as Village Encounters @ Holland Village is coming to town. It’s a bustling festival that celebrates the neighbourhood’s unique charm, encouraging folks to discover what the precinct has to offer and foster stronger community connections.
Of course, nothing builds stronger bonds than food, and you can expect to quell rumbling bellies at F&B booths such as Birds of Paradise, Yoshinoya, Bark and Brew, and Project Acai to name a few. For something creative to keep your hands busy with, leave your mark on a huge community art jam backdrop.

Don’t miss out on the many games and activities too, like giant beer pong, bean bag toss, neon face painting, and a glow-in-the-dark bracelet-making workshop. New Bahru is indeed perpetually happening. Following the recent opening of their new Factory Block, they’re throwing a block party aptly called Open House.
The heart of the celebration lies at the on-site Mini Lawn Festival, which plays host to GrooveTop’s Garden Party on Saturday. Expect hours of booming beats supplied by DJs AKA Sounds, Aurora, KFC, and Ya5th. If you’ve had a stressful week, take part in a 45-minute guided movement journey led by Laura of The Hummingbird Life and Tracy Phillips.
On Sunday, the Sing Song Social Club and Wild Pearl will bless visitors with a groovy set by DJ and local singer Haneri, followed by a fun game of musical chairs and sing-along sessions. You don’t have to leave the premises to get food too, just grab a bite at F&B pop-ups happening over the 2 days.

Perfectly poised in Clarke Quay is Kirin Ichiban’s First Press Studio. They’ve taken over Swee Lee’s Clarke Quay outlet, turning it into a beer lover’s playground with a couple of interactive experiences that’ll have you appreciate the craft that goes into every pint.
If you don’t want to leave just yet, you can sign up for one of their workshops for $15. The Kumiko Coaster Making workshop will guide you through crafting a coaster using a centuries-old Japanese woodworking technique. Meanwhile, learn more about a traditional resist-dyeing technique during the Shibori Bandana experience to create a stylised cotton bandana.

Even though Mid-Autumn Festival’s still about a month away, Hello Kitty and friends have all ushered in the festivities ahead of time at VivoCity. As part of the Sanrio Characters Moonlit Garden, the mall’s rooftop Sky Park will contain 6 impressive installations to snap some pics with and revel in the vibes of the mooncake festival.
There’s a slew of game booths at the Kuromi Carnival Kingdom, where you can have a go at uniquely Singaporean-themed challenges to win Sanrio merch. Over at the Cinnamoroll Secret Garden Grove, you can admire pretty hanging lanterns alongside a 5m-tall Cinnamoroll inflatable.
On Level 1, you’ll come across a whole Sanrio retail pop-up shop. Here, Sanrio-themed goodies stretch to as far the eye can see. They’ve got stationery, T-Shirts, school bags, plushies, and lanterns to get your little one all geared up for Mid-Autumn Festival. CHIJMES and Capitol Singapore want in on the Singapore Night Festival fun, so they’re playing host to a slew of immersive activities as part of their Myths & Legends event.

Running from 21st August to 5th September 2026, feast your eyes on daily light projections at night on CHIJMES’ facade that show Singapore’s evolution through the decades. There’s also a cool indoor projection mapping experience taking place within CHIJMES Hall on opening night and closing weekend to look forward to.
For sporty folks, you’ll fit right in at the adidas Hyperboost Hub, where you get to put their latest running innovation, the Hyperboost Edge, to the test by taking it on a 5km urban run. If you’d rather work your creative muscles, there are neon glow art jamming sessions and upcycling bag charms workshops to partake in.

Geneo is looking to make science fun with its REINVENTION: ALL PLAY 2026 festival. Running from now till 22nd November 2026, the mall has transformed into a curiosity-evoking play space for kids and adults alike as they explore the various installations that are meant to spur creativity and camaraderie.
For starters, have a gander at the RE:PLAY art installation’s 11 projects, all of which draw attention to the unnoticed connections between play and its scientific groundings. Kids are sure to have a blast at Goooaaalll, a machine that invites players to turn a wheel to guide a ball through a maze of gears and chutes to score a match-winning goal

For those who’ve not been on the Singapore Cable Car in a hot minute, now’s the time to hitch a ride on one of its cabins. That’s because you’ll be able to indulge in a new, exquisite private dining experience themed after the Little Red Dot.
Called The Singapore Chronicles, the experience takes guests on a culinary journey inspired by Singapore’s rich history, represented by courses that reflect the ingredients, cultures, and traditions that shaped the country over the years.

25 of the reserve’s most iconic animal personalities will share the spotlight throughout the month of August. For starters, keep an eye out for the red and white, NDP-inspired decor scattered across these stars’ exhibits. You’ll be able to snap pics at pretty photo spots, as well as tune in to captivating keeper talks as they recount indelible memories shared with these very animals.
Certain animal presentations will also get little National Day-inspired touches. For instance, the Wings of the World show will play host to a flag delivery section courtesy of its feathered stars, while Into The Wild’s porcupines are set to unveil a National Day banner.

Pokémon fans, the wait is finally over; the Pokémon Center Singapore store at Jewel Changi Airport has finally reopened, and it’s back with both a refreshed look and special edition merch. For starters, the store’s new facelift introduces the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo as its new symbol, with a majestic figure of the beast displayed front and centre.

Families with kids obsessed with the blocky wonder of Minecraft, you’ll be able to step into the game’s Overworld at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The new Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is here to stay all the way till September, and Minecraft fans of all ages will be in for a treat.
This indoor, hour-long experience has it all, from immersive projections, theatrical sets, photo spots, and motion-tracking gameplay for an impromptu workout. You’ll start off in the Minecraft Forest and venture through the game’s various biomes, gathering resources and spotting iconic Minecraft mobs like the panda, sheep, and Iron Golem along the way.
Each visitor will be equipped with an Orb of Interaction, which allows them to shape the blocky world around them and influence the outcome of their adventure, making each visit unique. Before you go, swing by the Trading Outpost to snag a cool keepsake, as well as a highly coveted in-game cape.

Legally Blonde might have just wrapped up production, but there’s a new West End production hitting Singapore’s shores this week: Jesus Christ Superstar. The story of how Judas betrayed Jesus might be familiar to you, but have you ever heard it played out through Judas’ perspective?
Featuring lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the Olivier Award-winning production loosely adapts the gospels of the Bible for a dramatic, rock opera retelling of the last days of Jesus Christ’s life. Whether you’re a theatre buff or simply curious about this genre-bending adaptation, you can expect a bold, contemporary staging accompanied by electrifying musical numbers.
The Singapore season will also see local stars Tabitha Nauser and Frances Lee taking on the role of Mary Magdalene, joining principal cast members like Luke Street, Javon King, and Kodiak Thomson. Another journey into the depths of the ocean starts at the ArtScience Museum this June. As its name suggests, Into the Ocean: Journey Beneath is a new exhibition where visitors can get a glimpse into life beneath the crashing waves.
First, you’ll step into an OceanX’s research vessel to simulate an actual deep-sea expedition, where sound, visuals, interactive technology and even scent will paint a vivid picture of what marine biologists encounter during real missions. Admire specimens of coral reef and sea-dwelling animals, and snap a pic at the pretty Lucida light installation that’s meant to mimic the sensation of being surrounded by shifting currents.
