FIFA fever is in the air, and if you love the beautiful game, *SCAPE is where you want to be at for the following weeks. From now till 19th July 2026, the community youth space is playing host to X *SCAPE: Sports Edition – a curated festival that’s football, street culture, and gaming all at the same time.
Here’s what you can expect at this festival:

Just in case you haven’t heard, *SCAPE has been organising free monthly outdoor film screenings on the first Saturday of each month. Simply register for a spot on the Cinewav app (Android | Apple) and turn up. On 4th July, it’s time for Shaolin Soccer – the 2001 sports comedy by the King of Comedy, Stephen Chow.
Even if the show’s before your time, you’ll want to give this classic a go. The hit comedy broke box office records, becoming the highest grossing film in Hong Kong’s history at that point.
The show starts at 7.30pm, AKA the best part of the evening for an outdoor movie sesh after the heat of the day is gone. With a big screen plus your own set of headphones with adjustable volume, all you have to do is make yourself comfortable in one of the provided beach chairs, lean back, and enjoy the show.

It’s your chance to shine on the court if you’ve been practising ‘dem skills at home. The Kickback is a street football festival that’s happening on 18th and 19th July 2026, played tourney style in 3-minute matches, culminating in an epic evening finale. In other words, you’ll be kicking off in your finals within the same 24 hours as the top 2 teams of this year’s World Cup.
As part of The Kickback, there’ll be Celebrity 3v3 Matches featuring creators and talents brought together by Bloomr.SG from across the creator community. These include Wah!Banana, Tropic Monsters TV, Double Up and more, with participants such as Royal Pek, MaYiDuo, CLBsam, Norbin and Umehara Keiji among others.
Then, there’ll be freestyle football performances by the Singapore Futsal Network and Ignition 5s. Who knew football was more than just the beautiful game? Let this be your introduction to this high-octane street-style mashup that proves football’s fancy footwork has a life outside of the game too.
For those taking a break from supporting your fav street football teams, you’ll want to browse the Matchday Football Market: World Cup Edition, which promises heritage pieces that you might just find yourself bringing home.
