So, 2024 definitely started with a bang. We’ve barely come off Coldplaymania and Taylormania, and it isn’t even the second quarter of the year yet. Well, the good news is, if you’re still pumped up, there’s plenty more to go around. Be it rock concerts making a comeback or your favourite international pop and K-pop artistes, there are plenty of concerts in Singapore to satisfy your itch for live music.
Here are all the upcoming shows to look forward to.
Table of Contents
As you may already know, Singapore is considered a world-class destination for concerts in Southeast Asia. Some of the biggest names in music have performed here, with recent ones including Taylor Swift and Coldplay, both of which spanned a whopping 6 nights – all of which were sold out. Needless to say, the rest of 2024 looks promising for avid concert-goers. Some live performances that are high in anticipation include Bruno Mars, and for rock music fans, the series of Singapore Rockfest acts such as Deep Purple.
Depending on the scale of the concert, you’ll find that most live music concerts in Singapore take place at popular venues such as National Stadium Singapore, Singapore Indoor Stadium, The Star Theatre, and Capitol Theatre. Outdoor venues such as Fort Canning Park are also used for the likes of music festivals.
Now you may be wondering, how much do concerts in Singapore cost? You can expect to fork out around $50-$150 for smaller-scale shows that include indie acts and classical and jazz recitals. However, larger-scale concerts typically cost from about $120 to as high as $500 or more, depending on the category you choose. You may also find tickets for around $100 with restricted views.
We also know that scoring tickets for popular acts can be a feat in itself, with no thanks to ticket scalpers in Singapore. That said, prepare yourself with our handy guide to concerts in Singapore that shows you what to do from start to finish. When all else fails, there’s always the infamous “Cat 100” where you can “attend” concerts from outside National Stadium Singapore.
