To celebrate 50 years of our soldiers fighting for the nation, SAFRA is hosting an open house to thank all servicemen who have done our country proud. Join SAFRA Toa Payoh’s open house on 1-2 July to reminisce some good ole’ NS memories – a day so good you’ll want to semula.
Free-flow beer at rooftop party*
Fall in with your section mates at SAFRA Toa Payoh’s rooftop and reminisce your NS life together. All you have to do is flash your 11B for exclusive access to a lepak-at-the-rooftop session. Non 11B holders, you can also join the party with a nominal fee of $15nett. Free-flow beer included!
Finger food will also be provided, and don’t worry it’s not army rations!

Race a drone through an obstacle course*
Take SOC to the next level and race a drone through an obstacle course. With a racing arena made just for drones, you can finally fulfill your F1 dreams.
Manoeuvring a drone is not as easy as it sounds – it requires a great deal of hand-eye coordination. Put your skills to the test and be astonished at how far technology has come. Best part? It’s 100% free. SAFRA members are given priority for pre-registration.

Experience IPPT again – with your kid this time*
If you were the zero fighter of your platoon, it’s time to redeem yourself. The difference is, this time you get to try again with your kid – which means you cannot afford to lose face. You never know, you may just outdo yourself while trying to prove a point.
P.S. You’ll get this limited-edition notebook and an “11B” for your kid if you participate!

In commemoration of NS50, SAFRA’s aim is 50,000 metres over the span of 2 days. By participating in the SAFRA-Speedo 100m Swim & Sprint Challenge, you can proudly say you contributed to the 50,000 target!

If you’d rather jio your family along too, join the SAFRA FINS School Family 4x50m Swim & Dash Relay** to swim a relay against other family teams (2 adults & 2 children 5 to 12 years old).

Bowling for a cause

From outings to trekking/hiking with children & senior citizens, the SAFRA Community Services Club has done monthly volunteer work organised by NSmen since 1987. At the SAFRA open house, you can contribute to something meaningful through fun activities organised by them too.
Strike a free bowling game** on SAFRA when you join their club – you’ll get to play against SAFRACS and their beneficiaries. At this bowling event, watch and learn from the expertise of athletes from Special Olympics and national players.

SAFRA Open House 2017 isn’t only a great opportunity to have an army reunion, but also to let your family have a rare chance to see what you went through. As a tribute to all Singaporean servicemen who have fought so hard (and lagged 2 years behind everyone else) for the nation, come down and celebrate with SAFRA.
