Many of us have likely been to Bugis Street Art Lane without even knowing it. To get there, simply take an MRT ride to Bugis Station and exit from Exit C. From here, cross the road and head into Bugis Street where you’ll see a sign directing you to Art Lane. You’ll know you’re there when you reach an alley with cool art covering the walls.

What to expect at Retro District by Resurrack?

Retro District by Resurrack runs from 6pm to 10pm on Fridays, and 3pm to 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The full list of vendors vary a little depending on the day and week you visit, but be rest assured that there’ll be plenty of vintage clothes and accessories to shop regardless.

Clothes

On our visit during Retro District’s opening weekend, we spotted thrifted gems like Ralph Lauren polo tees for $38, oversized jerseys for $30, and trendy mini skirts and cropped tops from $20.

Trinkets

Keep an eye out for cutesy keychains and bag charms too, ranging from around $7 to $35. To spice up your ling long collection, we found everything from Smiski and Sonny Angel keychains, to tiny Labubu ones that’re a fraction of the size of even the recently released mini Labubus – perfect to dangle on smaller items like your phones and wallets.

Tattoo & poetry

Aside from shopping, you’ll want to check out Retro District’s activity booths as well. We spotted a variety of vendors offering services like coloured henna, body art, tarot readings, and typewritten poetry.

Vintage photo booths & photo ops

With aesthetic photo walls, photo spots, and a retro B&W photo booth, no trip to Resurrack is complete without snapping some pics with your besties.

Photobooth

For vintage pics, visit The Vintage Stamp. This affordable photo booth will set you back just $5 for 2 photo strips, and you’ll even have the option to convert your fave snaps into keychains for an additional $2.

Photo wall

If you want to take full-body fit checks, this photo wall plastered with colourful posters makes for an insanely cool backdrop as well.

Vibe with local artists as you shop

Performances

As you make your way around the market, be sure to tune into the live music performances as well.

During our visit, we got to hear local talents from music collective The Outliers sing some of our fave pop tunes throughout the night.
