POP MART’s CNY takeover at Resorts World Sentosa

With Chinese New Year approaching, POP MART is trotting into Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) with a festive takeover at spots such as WEAVE and the Singapore Oceanarium. Running from 16th January to 15th March 2026, Gallop Into POP-sperity celebrates the Year of the Horse with large installations of your favourite POP MART characters, plus a free stamp rally.

We went down for a first look, so you’ll know exactly where to find the best photo spots and the most fun things to do when you visit.

What is Gallop Into POP-sperity?

This is POP MART’s first resort-wide event, and the start of many more collaborations with RWS. You’ll find installations of 12 POP MART characters from the newly released The Golden Gallop Series, inspired by this year’s zodiac, a stamp rally for a family-friendly day out, and a POP-Up store where you can get your hands on new releases from POP MART.

What to expect at Gallop Into POP-sperity?

Gallop Into POP-sperity features photo opportunities with POP MART characters across various locations at RWS, including WEAVE, Singapore Oceanarium, Grand Steps, and near Universal Studios Singapore (USS).

Here’s a quick breakdown of where you’ll spot the installations around RWS:

While there isn’t a set route to see all the installations, we recommend starting from WEAVE and finishing at the Grand Steps. This makes sure you won’t miss any characters, with no repeats or additional detours.

At WEAVE B1, you’ll find an installation of HACIPUPU sitting on a cloud and donning a traditional Chinese festive outfit, and another with PUCKY dressed as an adorable dumpling in a bowl featuring horse motifs.

Head up towards the Singapore Oceanarium’s Entrance Plaza, where Twinkle Twinkle will greet you. You might notice that there are stars and horses on its body; it’s meant to replicate the designs often found on blue-and-white porcelain.

As you start walking towards USS, the next installation you’ll see spotlights CHAKA. Her character is often seen as tranquil and calm, but this time, she’s switching things up with a dynamic pose – bow in hand and a flower arrow ready to fly.

Just a few steps away from CHAKA is Nyota and her cat, Lumi. While the character doesn’t normally have wings, this version of Nyota wearing a cloud-patterned outfit was inspired by winged horses.

One of the centrepieces is Baby Molly, set against a horse backdrop that’ll remind you of the iconic mosaic tile dragon playground.

Closer to the LEGO store, you’ll see Zsiga holding 2 hobby horses – similar to the ones that you might’ve played on when growing up.

The largest installation is right outside WEAVE Level 1. It’s a single installation that features LABUBU, Tinytiny, Hirono, and DIMOO – all in different and unique horse-inspired outfits and themes.

Lastly, head to the top of the Grand Steps to see SKULLPANDA, who’s brushed in the ink of traditional Chinese calligraphy.

Pro tip: Only the HACIPUPU, PUCKY, Twinkle Twinkle, and SKULLPANDA installations are sheltered, so remember to bring an umbrella in case it rains.

Free POP MART Stamp rally

Inspired by POP MART’s collectible culture, the event also comes with a free stamp rally to get in on the fun. Make your way to the redemption booth outside Birkenstock at WEAVE Level 1 to collect your “passport”.

Find the stamp stations near the various POP MART installations, and fill your passport with different stamp designs.

After collecting 10 or more stamps, head back to the redemption booth to redeem sticker sheets featuring all 12 POP MART characters in their horse-themed attire from The Golden Gallop Series.

New CNY-themed POP MART releases

You can’t leave a POP MART event empty-handed, so head to the POP-Up store opposite the CHAGEE store in WEAVE to check out 3 new CNY releases.

The Golden Gallop Series ($15.90/box) is a blind box featuring the 12, plus 1 secret, characters you’ll spot around RWS.

On top of that, there’s also the Have a Good Run Series, which has 2 options: fridge magnet blind box ($13.90) and plushie blind box ($37.90).
