The entrance could seem rather plain-looking, but don’t let this deter you from proceeding. Like many thrift stores, the inside is what matters – go in and you’ll see what we mean.
You’ll see racks and racks of affordable pre-loved clothing and accessories. If you are a bargain king or queen, you’ll be happy to know that items here are priced as low as $2.
Tops here usually cost $4, and we’ve seen some pants and skirts sold at around $8. To help with your hunting, the staff have sorted the items neatly into piles – so just head to the section you’re most interested in – be it clothes or home decor like cute porcelain displays.
Since it’s a thrift store, it’s first come first served, but you can count on lady luck for a successful shopping experience. In addition to the low prices, there are also frequent promos like buy 1 get 1 free and 50% off. Those who are always on the hunt for lobangs should definitely bookmark New2U Thrift Shop.

Ask any thrifting expert and they’ll tell you that hard work does pay off. Unlike the usual boutiques and stores, the items here aren’t curated – which means you’ll have to dig a little to find clothing that fits your vibe.
However, those who are patient may just strut home with a pair of Gucci loafers or Michael Kors heels – yes, and for 80% off the usual retail price. Some “treasures” thrifters have found here include vintage bags from Prada, Coach, Tod’s, and Kate Spade. These designer bags can cost up to $300 – compared to their retail prices, it’s a steal.

You don’t have to feel guilty about spending money on clothes, either. All proceeds from New2U Thrift Shop will help fund initiatives by the Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations (SCWO) – an NGO that focuses on creating a safe space for women. These include the Crisis Shelter and Online Victim Support for women and children survivors of domestic violence.
Another way you can contribute is by donating your used clothing and homeware, especially when you’re decluttering your home. Donations are accepted on a regular basis – capped at 2 boxes per person.
