Thankfully, Singapore’s got a slew of new attractions that opened up this year alone to check out and have fun at.
So to help you out with your holiday itinerary, here are 15 new activities and exhibits to jio your friends and fam along to try something new.

One of the newest kids on the block is the recently opened SkyHelix Sentosa. If you’re a sucker for a good view, this open-air gondola will get you front row seats to a panoramic 360° view of Sentosa and the surrounding waterfront 35M above the ground.
Not to mention, food is allowed aboard and each ticket comes with a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage. So kick back, relax, and sip on some drinks while you enjoy the ride.

If you’re looking for something outdoorsy to do, pay a visit to Kingfisher Wetlands at Gardens By The Bay. It’s a 15,000 SQM reserve home to over 200 native mangrove trees such as the Upriver Orange Mangrove and Firefly Mangrove.
With tons of waterfalls, lalang fields and even sculptures, this spot is great for the gram. Even better, entry is completely free.
No worries if you’re not ready to travel just yet, because Ice Hotel Gallery in Snow City is bringing winter to our tropical little red dot. Everything in this cool place is made of ice, from an ice throne right down to a snuggly-looking ice bed.
Aside from icy sculptures and furniture, there’s even an ice bar where you can chill with friends and enjoy some bevs. Make sure to wear long pants and socks before heading down so you don’t end up freezing – jackets, boots and gloves will be provided by Snow City.

A couple of months back, Haw Par Villa reopened as part of an upgraded and expanded Hell’s Museum, with complimentary guided tours available daily. The park now includes a new indoor gallery showcasing a myriad of information from the birth of time to how we handle death and perceive the afterlife across religions in Singapore today.
On top of that, you’ll find revamped OG attractions like the Ten Courts of Hell and snazzy new features like a Visitor’s Centre decked out with merchandise, snacks and Tiger Balm ointments. Also check out “Beyond the Veil Art & Tech”, a free Virtual Reality exhibit.

And if you get hungry or restless, there’s also a new restaurant, The Sixth Milestone, selling food and drinks in the area.

For a thrilling new way to explore Singapore’s shores by sea, check out Waterbike SG – Singapore’s first water bike adventure. It’s kinda like cycling on land, except this time, you’ll be cruising through the waves instead of gravel and dirt on solid ground.
No worries if you don’t know how to cycle because the water bikes are installed on two large floats instead of wheels, forming a stabilised craft that does not require any balancing acts on your part whatsoever.
So just bring some shades, put on some sunblock and bring your cameras along to recreate the tropical getaway experience most would expect to find only in places like Koh Samui or Langkawi.

If you’re planning to pay a visit to the Science Centre, make sure to pop by the newest permanent exhibition there – the Know Your Poo exhibition. As its name suggests, Know Your Poo gives you the lowdown on everything poo-related, from shapes and shades of poop to where human waste eventually ends up here in Singapore.
While this exhibit might not have the Iron Throne found in Game of Thrones, it’s got the next best thing – The Royal Throne. Strike your best pose and ignite your inner Daenerys as you snap away.

For those who love ice cream or all things pink, this one is for you. The Museum of Ice Cream is chock full of IG-worthy spots and unlimited ice cream treats that are included in the ticket price to enhance your experience.
Feast on various ice cream flavours available throughout the museum, including vegan and gluten-free options.
Between a classic American diner complete with a jukebox and ice cream machine and a pink version of our iconic dragon playground, there’s plenty to see and eat here at the Museum of Ice Cream.

It features 700M-long tracks with 11 twists and turns to navigate around
Speed demons can get their dose of adrenaline at The Karting Arena Jurong. This latest go-kart facility is roughly the size of three football fields at 153,000 SQFT.
No driver’s license, no problem – go on a whirlwind ride around the tracks at speeds of up to 30KM/H. But if you’re a certified driver, you can race your friends at up to 50KM/H.
Other than the single karts, there’ll also be double seaters with one dummy wheel – perfect for parents with adrenaline junkie kids.

Unleash the inner child in you by taking a trip down to the Coastal PlayGrove at East Coast Park this holiday season. Built on the grounds of its predecessor – the now-gone Big Splash – this outdoor playground features vertical climbing nets, giant slides and various water features such as wading pools and jet fountains.
Regardless of age, there’s something for everyone to do here. Even your little ones who can’t enter the towering vertical climbing nets won’t have to leave disappointed because there are low-lying Leisure Nets for them to enjoy.

Located within the National Orchid Garden at Singapore Botanic Gardens, Tropical Montane Orchidetum gives us some serious overseas vibes ideal for those dreamy IG pictures. Along with 1,000 species of orchids and hybrids, this entire garden also houses more than a hundred different species of other flowers and ferns.
Not only does it look the part of an out-of-city backdrop, the glasshouse within the Garden actually emulates the climate at 1,000M-2,000M elevation too. This means A/C-like temperatures of 16-24 degrees for those feeling the heat in sunny Singapore.

Fitspos can add Bukit Gombak Park to their lists – the newest green space to grace the West. Alongside treks and trails, this park’s also got a bunch of cool features ranging from a Butterfly Garden with over 20 species of butterflies to a dog run.

Unlike the OG Marina Square outlet which features a mix of classic arcade games and VR simulations, the Somerset branch is upping their game with a bunch of immersive VR experiences for you to experience.
Aside from uber-cool high-tech VR gear, there are 13 different games to choose from, across three genres: thriller, interactive, and horror. This isn’t your typical date or outing idea, nor is VR tech something most of us have at home.
