When it comes to live concerts in 2025, those living on the Little Red Dot can consider themselves blessed. From Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Tour delighting Little Monsters earlier in May to BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE world tour concert slated for November, there’s no shortage of big names performing in the country as we go into the latter half of the year.
On that note, November also has another major artiste who’s set to wow the Singaporean crowd, but she’s not your run-of-the-mill pop star. As part of Miku Expo Asia 2025, the virtual idol Hatsune Miku will be headed our way for a unique concert experience; here’s all you need to know about it.

If you aren’t too familiar with the Japanese music sensation that is Hatsune Miku, making sense of who or what she is can get pretty convoluted. To start off, Hatsune Miku is a voice synthesiser released in 2007 by Crypton Future Media, Inc. Essentially, she began as a program that producers could utilise to create computer-generated vocal tracks for their music.
It didn’t take long for her high-pitched, robotic voice to be recognised all over Japan, and she was also personified in the form of a virtual idol, who happens to be an android from a future where music has become a thing of the past.
In 2009, she took to the stage for the first time at the Animelo Summer Live music festival in Saitama, Japan. Since then, Hatsune Miku has performed in various countries all over the world, in the form of futuristic, hologram-like projections, and in more recent times, a life-sized animated model dancing across huge LED screens.
You can get your tickets to the Miku Expo Asia 2025 concert in Singapore via the Ticketmaster SG website. The concert will be held at The Star Theatre in Buona Vista on 19th November 2025, and tickets for the concert were released on 22nd July 2025, 12pm. The prices for tickets are as follows:
As of writing, most of the tickets for the Miku Expo Asia 2025 concert in Singapore have been snatched up but there are still a couple left, so do act quickly to secure your seats.
The concert will be Hatsune Miku’s first outing on Singapore soil since her performance in 2011’s edition of the annual Anime Festival Asia, making it a highly-anticipated affair for longtime listeners islandwide. But, even if you don’t know anything about the virtual idol, you might still be captivated by the android’s infectious on-stage energy and the fact that she’s not even human, so attending the concert could prove to be an eye-opener.
The previous Miku Expos around the globe also featured fringe activities, so hang around for a bit after the concert to partake in them. These include art workshops, exhibitions, and fan meets.
The wait is over for fans of Hatsune Miku; the cyan-haired idol will finally be serenading the nation with her unique voice and quirky on-screen antics come November. There’s no telling when she’ll be back again, if ever, so take this rare opportunity to catch her live.
