The Infinity Saga refers to the first 3 phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with 23 films spanning from Iron Man in 2008 to 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. Think of it as the OG era of the MCU, where superheroes from across different franchises – Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and more – team up to take down the ultimate big bad: Thanos.
At the heart of this saga are the Infinity Stones – 6 powerful gems that Thanos is dead set on collecting to snap half of all life out of existence. Everything builds up to the massive showdown in Avengers: Endgame, making this era one of the most iconic in cinematic history.
