It’s no secret that children have an insane amount of energy and curiosity, which is why they often get bored in the blink of an eye. Clearly, going to the same old playground or watching repeat telecasts of Disney shows simply isn’t enough to keep these kiddos occupied.

1. Air Play – circus theatre with giant flying balloons

Where circus meets street theatre, Air Play guarantees to leave the wee ones laughing out loud. Follow two siblings on their adventure as they turn everyday objects into unbelievable sights, including a confetti-filled night sky and the biggest snow globe you’ll ever see. 2. The Gingerbread Man – action-packed musical

The Gingerbread Man, a new action-packed musical, follows the story of giant cookie Ginger who accidentally breaks his mother’s oven. Setting his mind on winning a new oven for her, Ginger joins a race and comes face to face with Sly Fox who can’t wait to get a big bite of him.

3. Emily Saves the Orchestra – songs and dance with audience participation

Emily Saves the Orchestra is a heartwarming children’s concert full of song and dance brought to you by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. As 10-year-old Emily tries to defeat Cacophonous, the monster that wants to reign in chaos, kids will be able to lend a helping hand by singing along with her.

5. Peter Pan in Serangoon Gardens – local remake of the fairytale

Regardless of our age, we’re no strangers to how stressful growing up in Singapore can be at times. Cue Peter Pan in Serangoon Gardens – a localised remake of the classic tale that features Wendy and her brothers flying away from the pressures of school and into Neverland.

6. Cerita Anak (Child’s Story) – special seat tiers that let you join the action

8. Little Music Explorer – orchestra show with life-sized Pikachu appearance

Set sail on a musical exploration to learn about the different instruments and sections of an orchestra, as the kids tune in to harmonious melodies of woodwinds, percussions and brasses. 9. CATalysts – rescue mission and Science experiments for cat-loving kids

Unlike the common sit-down theatre show, CATalysts is an interactive theatre performance that’s purrfect for young inquisitive cat-lovers. Wearing a comfortable wireless headset that’ll play the original soundtrack and actors’ voices, kids will be going on an exciting rescue mission to save Madame Curie, a cat who has been “catnapped” by the unhappy inventor Dr FeelBad.
