You know you’re a true Singaporean 90s kid if you remember the Pizza Hut on the second floor of Jelita Shopping Centre. Well, here’s an update, the heartland mall has been upgraded and rebranded as Jelita Mall, with a spanking new food court and other shops too. Here’s all you need to know about the new-old mall:
While the old exterior is nothing to write home about, it got the job done.

Built in 1981, the mall mainly served residents living in the Bukit Timah and Holland Village neighbourhoods through its Cold Storage, which took up the entire ground floor. Other previous tenants include Delifrance, Pizza Hut, Times bookstore, and 7-Eleven.

In 2023, the mall was sold for $91 million to Mr Peter Koh Ang An, a property developer. Months of renovation followed, finally resulting in a sleek, updated look, with a couple of new shops to boot. Getting around the mall has also been made easier, thanks to upgraded lifts, escalators, carpark, and a refreshed second floor.
While the free 1-hour parking perk is no longer available, you can still get complimentary 1-hour parking with a minimum spend of $30 at Cold Storage. Otherwise, parking is charged at $0.04/minute.
The best way to get to Jelita Mall is to take a train and alight at Holland Village MRT Station along the Circle Line, then take exit A. Then, take a 8-minute walk to Holland Village Bus Stop (stop ID: 11261), from which you can take buses 7, 61, 75, or 165, all of which stop right outside Jelita Mall.
Alternatively, you can drop off at Sixth Avenue MRT Station along the Downtown Line and take bus 156 to the mall.
The biggest difference in Jelita Mall is the unveiling of a new food court, Jelita Gourmet (#02-18). It houses famous eateries like Ipoh Tuck Kee, Tanjong Rhu Wanton Noodles, and Ming Xuan Roasted Delights.
If your taste buds crave something more Western, you can also find Common Grill’s by Collins, where you can stock up on craft beer for late-night outings. Otherwise, there’s an Indian stall for prata bites after weekend walks on the Rail Corridor, which has an exit just next to Jelita Mall.
Another new F&B entrant to the mall is Craftsmen Specialty Coffee (#02-04) – a serene spot to have brunch and get some work done on your WFH days. Their avocado toast ($17) and specialty coffee (from $4.50) will definitely give you that extra boost you need to power through the day.
The Pizza Hut of old may be gone, but you can still get your pizza fix at Four Pizza (#02-17). They offer a diverse range of pizzas in many flavours from $12.90, in sizes of 8” all the way up to 14”.
Despite the takeover, Cold Storage (#01-01) is still the anchor tenant that’s been around since the mall’s opening. The fact that it’s a Cold Storage store also means you can buy atas imported goods like artisanal cheeses, chocolates, and fancy condiments. You can even drop by if you’ve forgotten someone’s birthday – Edith Patisserie has a counter here too.
Everyone knows that hair is a guy’s version of makeup, and you can spruce yourself up at kcuts (#02-10) in just 10 minutes, for $10. That’s a solid price to get your hair looking like oppa, and in 10 minutes, no less.
If you’re looking for a toy shop with variety, My Toy Shop (#02-12) has over 140 brands of toys for your kids to browse through. You’ll find big names like LEGO, CoComelon, and PlayMonster.

For all things birthday-related, pop by WoW! Let’s Party (#02-13). From table decorations to themed party kits, they have it all. Plus, if your total bill crosses the $300 mark, you’ll score free delivery for all your party loot.

Other shops in the mall include a Mister Minit (#02-11) and HOUZEplus (#02-02) outlet – enough to cover all your accessory and household needs.
If you’re feeling under the weather, or if you need a health checkup, there’s Beacon Health Clinic Jelita (#02-14) and Ko Djeng Dental Centre (#02-15) for all things dental-related. If it’s nothing too serious, Guardian (#02-10) has got you covered.
With Jelita Mall’s reopening, residents in the Holland Village area will have another place to visit aside from One Holland Village and Raffles Holland V. Whether it’s for a quick grocery run, meal, or supplies for your kid’s birthday party, you’ll find that the mall checks all the boxes.
