Located at the picturesque Satay By The Bay, Makan By The Bay is a halal zi char eatery that serves iconic local dishes to locals and tourists alike. 

Their menu largely consists of seafood options like fish, crab, crayfish, prawns, sotong and lala, along with zi char favourites like fried rice and hor fun.

During this circuit breaker period, Makan By The Bay is offering a $58 set meal promotion with a choice of 2 sets:

  • Set A (Crab set meal): Chili or Black Pepper Crab, Butter Cereal Prawn, Crispy Bun (6pcs), Shrimp Fried Rice
  • Set B (Fish set meal): Sweet & Sour Fish, Black Pepper Prawn, Garlic Kai Lan, Shrimp Fried Rice

The set meals are enough for 2-3 to enjoy, but do note that the $58 is not inclusive of delivery fees of between $5-$15 depending on location. Makan By The Bay also caters to larger parties with a la carte orders like BBQ Stingray (from $13), Sotong (from $16) and other perennial zi char favourites like hor fun, fried rice and salted egg yolk dishes.
