Flying Tiger Copenhagen at Bugis+

As if we needed another lifestyle store selling various types of ling ling long long – yes, we’re looking at you, Miniso and KKV – another one has landed on Singapore soil, courtesy of the Danes. Flying Tiger Copenhagen has officially brought their Scandinavian charm to Bugis+, so you’ll want to ready your wallets for their goods; here’s all you need to know.

What is Flying Tiger Copenhagen?

Flying Tiger Copenhagen is a lifestyle store chain originating from Denmark; to put it in local context, think of it as a Scandinavian version of Miniso. It’s known for giving a playful and colourful spin on everyday household essentials, sold at affordable prices.

Ever since its inception in 1995, the chain now has over 900 stores worldwide, with their Bugis+ outlet being the first of its kind in Singapore. The brand is also in the midst of opening an outlet in JB which will be housed within AEON Mall Tebrau City; that one’s slated to be up and running in the coming weeks.

The outlet in Bugis+ (#02-20) finally opened its doors to welcome customers on 28th July 2025, and with any new opening on the Little Red Dot, the queues formed pretty much instantly. It seems like we just can’t get enough of cutesy trinkets and baubles, and the store is just filled to the brim with them.

Unfortunately, the store doesn’t buy into the blind box hype so you won’t be seeing any Labubus lining their shelves, but instead a slew of quirky offerings.

According to shoppers who paid a visit on the store’s opening day, some items that might catch your eye include DIY crochet sets, fruit-shaped cushions and trays, pastel-hued water bottles, and cups decorated with adorable motifs of lemon and oranges. They also stock eccentric office supplies such as pencil sharpeners shaped like cacti and stationery sets encased in bananas, along with a wide array of snacks exclusive to Scandinavian countries.

If you’ve got some time to spare this Friday, swing by the store for their grand opening event. Happening on 1st August 2025, you’ll be greeted by their mascot, which turns out to be a huge letter T, to snap pics with. There’ll also be free popcorn and cotton candy to munch on as you do some shopping, and the little ones will be captivated by the live magic show and ring toss game.

From 1st-3rd August 2025, the new outlet will also be holding a Spin The Wheel promo, where shoppers who spend over $15 will get a chance to win a surprise gift. Concurrently, those who spend over $25 and follow the store’s Instagram page can claim a free tote bag.
