If you missed POP MART’s CNY takeover at RWS, they’re back – only this time, they’re taking over the Singapore Oceanarium at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) with none other than the beloved character, CRYBABY.
Enter CRYBABY Cry Me An Ocean – a world-first oceanarium takeover, happening from 24th June to 30th August 2026.

Even before you step into the Singapore Oceanarium, you’ll be greeted by a pair of 5m-tall CRYBABY inflatables.
There’s THE ANGLERFISH CRYBABY, where the character teams up with a sunfish to form an “Oddball Alliance” – its tears are said to glow softly, illuminating the dark depths of the ocean like a reminder to “be your own light amidst the darkness”.
Next is THE PUFFERFISH CRYBABY, who like the sea urchin it’s paired with are covered in spikes. These spikes, however, are not meant to hurt others, but to protect them. “I may look prickly all over, but my heart is gentle,” is the message of this CRYBABY installation.
Other than the inflatables, there’s also a 2m-tall sculpture just inside the entrance of the Singapore Oceanarium. This one’s called THE WHALESHARK, with a little remora swimming alongside, showing the symbiotic relationship between the two sea creatures.
Within the Oceanarium, visitors will find life-sized sculptures and immersive photo opportunities spaced out through the various galleries.

Don’t skedaddle off right after your Oceanarium visit – you’ll want to pop into the CRYBABY POP-up store at WEAVE, where you can purchase exclusive Cry Me An Ocean collectibles and merch.
P.S.: Present your same-day Singapore Oceanarium ticket and spend a minimum of $128 at the store to receive a CRYBABY Cry Me An Ocean eye mask, while stocks last.
You can visit the CRYBABY POP-up and inflatables without a ticket, but you’ll need a Singapore Oceanarium ticket to see the rest.
Tickets are priced at $43 for children aged 4 to 12, and senior citizens aged 60 and above. Adult tickets are $55 each. You can buy your tickets on the Singapore Oceanarium website.
Parents, this activation comes just in time for the end of the June holidays. For the rest of us, we’ve got till the end of August to catch CRYBABY’s first-ever oceanarium takeover. You might want to head down sooner rather than later for the exclusive merch though.
