Children’s Museum Singapore

It’s official: The children are getting their own museum in Singapore. Considering how much time they spend drying their eyeballs on the TV screen, this attraction couldn’t come at a better time.

Made up of 7 interactive galleries, the Children’s Museum Singapore is where the kiddos can scope out art, play games, and explore the vibrant past of the Little Red Dot.

TBH, this museum is basically a big playpen of fun and educational displays. Your mini-me will likely be so amazed by the 7 galleries and be fully occupied with solving riddles that they might forget Cocomelon exists.

Go ahead and waltz through the first 4 galleries, stop at the Captain’s Ship, and try your hand at tying a reef knot or kickstarting a water pump. See if you can unearth the glorious past of this port city.

Then, make a pit stop at a room that resembles a post office to DIY stamps and create a stamp parade. After that, climb up the stairs where a diverse roster of rotating exhibits awaits.

Here, expect giant bird paper sculptures, a padded play space for toddlers, and an interactive zone where kids can learn about gifting and birthday practices, as well as family values.

Have a dayout at Children’s Museum Singapore

You don’t have to be kids to appreciate the Children’s Museum Singapore. In fact, we’re willing to bet even adults will have a ball at this colourful space.

From 13th December to 31st March 2023, entry to the museum is free for all. As part of the opening, there’ll be arts and crafts on the 17th and 18th December, as well as a solid lineup of dance shows, games, and goodies to be won.

It’s definitely not your typical day at the museum, but it’ll be fun.
