Changi’s Sweetest Treat at T3
Age is but a number for us sweet tooths – we’re never too old to enjoy a good ol’ lollipop. For those who can’t resist the sugar, dive into Changi Airport’s latest Chupa Chups pop-up – aptly named Changi’s Sweetest Treat. It’s a candy wonderland at Terminal 3 that you can catch from now till 3rd May 2022.
From Chupa Chups lolly sculptures of all sizes to a pastel kids’ playground, here’s what you can expect at Changi’s Sweetest Treat:
Kid-friendly Chupa Chups playground set
The pastel aesthetic is uber-cute and dreamy.
Our Candy Crush dreams have come to life at the Chupa Chups Playground. Spot a colourful carousel and a Ferris wheel with lollipops for seats. You’ll be snappin’ pics for the ‘Gram in no time.
The candy-themed playground photo set will keep the tots entertained without the need for a tablet.
If you’ve ever had the debate on which is the best Chupa Chups flavour, well, it seems like Strawberry reigns in the larger-than-life installation in front of the departure hall.
This is the largest Chupa Chups lollipop sculpture in Singapore standing at almost 4m tall and 7m wide. It’s surrounded by other smaller ‘pops of other Chupa Chups flavours that are just as IG-worthy.
Find hidden Chupa Chups around Changi Airport
While we headed towards Kopitiam at Basement 2 for lunch, we spotted another Chupa Chups set. Featuring an adorable pastel candy bus, this setup will appease little ones who love all things colourful.
Kiddos can scamper around the glowing candy tunnel, but adults needn’t feel shy to do the same.
The candy tunnel is in fact an optical illusion set, which lives up to its trippy nature. Get a friend to be your photographer and position yourself at just the right spot marked by a sticker on the floor – it’s as if you could almost taste the lollipop.
If you’re headed towards Jewel, make a pit stop at the Chupa Chups Garden next to the link bridge. Amidst the staple greens of Changi Airport that we’re familiar with, there are lolly blooms “dancing” along to the Chupa Chups jingle that can be heard around all the photo op areas.
Join in on cupcake & robotics workshops
The workshop venues are around T3 as well – at the Colonial Club, The Planet Traveller, and the Bikanervala.
Parents looking to make the March holidays count can check out the S.M.A.R.T workshops. Kids can try their hand at cupcake decorating or bento felt craft, and even pilot robotics. Workshop passes start from $33 but a $50 spend will score you discounted prices per pass.
Note: Workshop passes can only be purchased through the iChangi App.
