Disney Adventure Sentosa takeover
The Disney Adventure cruise has been taking over many of our social algorithms the past couple of months, and we’re here to tell you that it’s not going anywhere. They’ve just announced a 3-month collaboration with Sentosa – A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise, and here’s everything you can look forward to.
When is the takeover?
A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise starts on 24th June 2026, and will run until 20th September 2026.
What’s more, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia will extend its opening hours till 10pm for the first time ever.
What can I expect at A Magical Island Adventure?
Day-to-night experience across the island
This first-of-its-kind island takeover has been designed as a day-to-night experience that visitors to Sentosa can enjoy, with light, sound, movement and environment all coming together for an absolute sensorial treat.
If you remember how the island was transformed into a Wicked-themed paradise last year ahead of the sequel, Disney takes it to the next level, with the entire island and all its precincts will feature beloved Disney characters and stories.
Inspired by Disney Adventure’s 7 themed areas

So, if you haven’t heard, the Disney Adventure cruise is headlined by its 7 themed areas: Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing.
Now, these areas have inspired different experiences across Sentosa, from the Sentosa Line of the Singapore Cable Car to Sensoryscape, Central Beach Bazaar, Palawan Beach, The Palawan, and the Southernmost Tip of Continental Asia.
For starters, the Sentosa Express will see its trains wrapped in decals featuring Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie, welcoming guests as they board at VivoCity to their Magical Island Adventure on Sentosa.
Then, all 3 Singapore Cable Car stations will feature photo installations of iconic Disney characters, while the cable cars will take on a new look inspired by the themed areas on board the cruise.
6m-tall inflatable characters

If you head to Central Beach Bazaar, you’ll spot a 3.5m-tall Magical Compass installation which will point you to the various experiential points across the island.
Visit Palawan Beach in the next 3 months, and you’ll find it done up with installations themed after the ship’s beloved San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing. Most of all, you can’t miss the 6m-tall inflatable anchor installation, with sand-blasted figures of Captains Mickey and Minnie.
Another photo spot to check out is the 6m-tall inflatable Baymax, where you’ll also find a dedicated F&B zone and beach chairs to chill with Baymax at.
Night time neon lights
Over at the Toy Story Place section of the beach, look forward to larger-than-life bath toys and fan-favourite characters – this section is transformed into a neon-lit spectacle after the sun sets.

The Palawan is another spot where neon-lit cocktail sculptures, reminiscent of the Disney Adventure’s Infinity Bar, will take centre stage.
Coral reef intallations & bioluminescent paths
Head to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia by night, and you’ll find a Disney Discovery Reef-inspired haven, with coral reef installations, and glowing trails with lit-up sculptures from Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid and more.
There will also be web-based interactive light projections on Sentosa Rock, which you can design too.
Princess-themed hammock installations & light show
Sensoryscape ain’t left out too – the venue will take on a Town Square-esque makeover, lined with 13 Disney Princess-themed hammock installations.
This is one spot that’ll look even better when darkness falls, because more than 100 lighting effects will turn the place into a magical eventide fantasy.
