What is a shiatsu massage?
For those unfamiliar, shiatsu is a form of traditional Japanese massage, which literally means “finger pressure”. Applying pressure to certain acupoints on your body helps ease tension while improving blood and lymphatic circulation.

You never know when adulting is going to hit extra hard, which is why a quick destress session always sounds like a good idea. Luckily, there’s no need to plan weeks in advance or chiong for an appointment slot here – just show up for your massage whenever you need it.
Once you’re there, just order and pay for your massage at the kiosk. There are 2 massages to choose from: a hands and massage gun massage ($15) or a hands-only massage ($20). And don’t worry if you don’t have cash on you – E-Charge also accepts PayNow.

Once it’s your turn, you don’t even need to change out of your clothes – just settle into their massage chair. You’ll be treated to a quick 15-minute massage, designed to work out the tension spots and leave your body feeling lighter.

E-Charge currently has 3 branches. Westies have 2 options, with E-Charge’s 1st branch at Bukit Panjang Plaza (#01-27) and another at Clementi Mall (#04-18). And if your office happens to be in Novena, you’ll be glad to know there’s also a branch at United Square Novena (#B1-56B).
