The long-ongoing ‘which side best side’ debate has just gotten a lot spicier with the recent opening of Pasir Ris Mall. Better yet, easties can now boast about the spanking new additions in October: more dining options featuring various international cuisines, an indoor kids playground, and even a 2-storey polyclinic.
How to get to Pasir Ris Mall
The best part is that the mall is just a 3-minute walk from Pasir Ris MRT. Take Exit A, then turn right upon exiting the station and keep walking until you see the blue and red signs of the mall’s entrance.
Grab a sweet treat at Beard Papa’s
For my fellow shoppers with a sweet tooth, Beard Papa’s (#01-32) is the place to satisfy dem cravings. Grab a bite of the Signature Custard Cream Puff ($3), or go seasonal with their special flavours this month: Matcha & Sakuranbo Cherry ($3.50).
Entertain your young ones at the indoor playground
Wan To Play (#02-58) is a themed indoor playground for kids. Tickets are going for $18/hour for 1 kid and 1 adult, so parents can join in on the fun. There are ball pits, slides, and educational mini-games for an afternoon’s entertainment. There’s even a room with LED floor projections to marvel at that’s exclusive to the Pasir Ris Mall’s outlet.
Fancy a massage after shopping?
Give your feet a break and let them take you to Xpress Foot Wellness (#02-51) for a calming foot massage from $24. Despite the store’s name, they also provide targeted body massages, as well as services such as gua sha and cupping therapy.

Soon gym bros in the east will be in for a protein-filled feast with the I’m Kim Korean BBQ (#01-03) all-you-can-eat buffet menu. The restaurant hasn’t opened its Pasir Ris outlet just yet but will soon join the list of new openings at the mall.
Starting from just $18.90 for lunch and $28.90 for dinner, you get to enjoy different marinated meats, appetisers, and also Shabu-shabu hotpot that will leave you feeling like you’re walking the streets of Seoul or Tokyo.
RedMan By Phoon Huat (#02-26) is a certified playground for all bakers that will also soon be showing up at Pasir Ris Mall. Shop for quality baking ingredients and supplies at competitive prices, like baking flour from as cheap as $2.40 and decorative fondant at $4. The options are truly endless here.
