Indulge in a cake extravaganza at YOUNG Tea & Coffee

As its name suggests, YOUNG Tea & Coffee is a cafe that sells refreshing iced tea and coffee.

Nonetheless, what makes this homegrown cafe in Saigon all the rage with local foodies is its giant menu of cakes to complement its drinks.

Imagine choosing from over 100 cupcakes, pastries, and even meat pies of a variety of shapes, sizes, and prices to pair with your tea.

YOUNG Tea & Coffee has three stores in Saigon, two in District 10 and one in Gò Vấp.

All of its branches boast simple, lovely designs with air conditioning and wall chargers for those who want to linger around.

While each store has ample seating and large windows for a sense of airiness, its space is compact and tends to be popular in the evening and during weekends.

The place can get pretty crowded by then, so we recommend you to just drop by for a quick midday pick-me-up or a post-dinner treat.

A wide assortment of cakes and snacks to choose from

While most cafes in town sell only a handful of cakes as side dishes for their drinks, YOUNG Tea & Coffee prides itself on its enormous menu of savory treats that come in all shapes and sizes alongside its equally impressive array of beverages.

Featuring around 100 genoise cakes, cupcakes, choux buns, and macarons, YOUNG Tea & Coffee looks like an edible gallery. These treats come in different shapes and sizes and prices, ranging from only VND5,000 (~USD0.22) per portion.

A soft and chewy macaron costs VND5,000 (~USD0.22), while a study, buttery sponge cake is priced at VND120,000 (~USD5.30). For a 14-cm diameter cheesecake fit for a birthday cake, diners pay VND310,000 (~USD13.68).
