Cafes in Đà Nẵng with Christmas décor
Christmas is just around the corner, and while it isn’t an official holiday in Vietnam, that doesn’t dampen our festive spirit. You can see the Christmas theme everywhere around this time, be it on the streets, at schools, or at entertainment venues such as cafes and restaurants.
So if you’re looking for places to add a few Christmas-themed pictures to your gallery, here are 8 cafes in Đà Nẵng with Christmas décor you might want to check out.
1. Reply 1988 – a tribute to a popular Korean TV show

Reply 1988 Café is an impressive 2-story space that pays tribute to the well-loved Korean TV series of the same name. It has always been a popular check-in spot thanks to its bright, crisp façade featuring a tall glass window and wooden benches surrounded by a wall of solemn brown bricks – all standing out against a beige backdrop.

Now, the signature window has taken on a more festive look as artificial mistletoes and Christmas balls line its frame. Cute little cedar pine trees in baskets lined up along the walls further add to the vibe.

Indoor, the Christmas décor is pretty simple – a Christmas tree here, some nutcrackers there, enough for you to feel the holiday spirit without it getting overwhelming.

A corner with a projected screen showing Christmas-themed images next to European-style decorative objects makes for another popular picture hotspot.

For drinks, we recommend getting the signature mango smoothie with milk foam (VND49,000, ~USD2.08) to go alongside the many pastry options such as the croissant with salted egg cream (VND35,000, ~USD1.48).
Address: 20 Lê Hồng Phong Street, Hải Châu District, Đà Nẵng
Opening hours: 7am-12am, Daily

2. Amee Station – cafe with mountain views and snow-covered Christmas trees
Amee Station is another name that shutter-happy café-hoppers in Đà Nẵng are probably no strangers to. The café features several wooden cabins built on the side of a small mountain, offering the experience of drinking coffee amidst plenty of trees and plants.

Climb all the way to the top – about the equivalent of scaling a 5-story building, so you might want to wear comfortable shoes – and you can enjoy a rooftop view of Đà Nẵng and the ocean in the distance.

For Christmas, Amee Station has equipped its space with, unsurprisingly, many Christmas trees. One particular corner features several trees in a line, all covered in a thick layer of artificial snow. With the right angle, you can produce shots to look as if you’re actually in a winter pine forest.

As the main draw here is the view, drinks are pretty standard. Feel free to grab any coffee (from VND35,000, ~USD1.48), fruit teas (from VND50,000, ~USD2.12), or smoothies (VND55,000, ~USD2.33) that tickle your fancy.
Address: 35 Lê Đức Thọ Street, Sơn Trà District, Đà Nẵng
Opening hours: 7am-10pm, Daily

3. MOMO Coffee & Tea – cafe resembling a train station, with artificial snow
Image credit: MOMO Coffee & Tea
A relatively new kid on the block, MOMO Coffee & Tea has been somewhat of a sensation since its opening just a couple of months ago. Its unique designs resemble a Korean train cabin – completed with signs bearing Korean characters, grab handles, and glass windows looking out to one of Đà Nẵng’s busiest streets.

Though the space here is relatively small, you will find no shortage of opportunities to snap Christmas-themed pictures. A Christmas tree and plenty of artificial snow have been set up at the “train door” next to Bearbrick statues, providing an ideal backdrop.

The décor is not static either. There are machines spraying artificial snow for you to further spice up your Christmas album.

The menu here boasts a plethora of options for milk tea from only VND25,000 (~USD1.06). We enjoy the chocolate milk tea with cheese topping – which comes with a lot of toppings and an actually moderate amount of sweetness.

4. Trình Cà Phê – new outlet of popular Đà Nẵng cafe brand with Christmas decor
If you’ve been following The Smart Local Vietnam, you know Trình Cà Phê is one of our go-to spots in Đà Nẵng to relax amidst a lush garden and rustic traditional Vietnamese houses. But this popular café franchise has recently opened a new outlet with a more modern look, which goes well with Christmas décor.

The new outlet’s arched gate is currently decorated with stuffed teddy bears, mistletoe, and Christmas balls for you to pose and snap to your heart’s content.

The gate opens into a spacious plant-filled yard, which leaves plenty of room for real pine trees – all of which are covered in Christmas decorations to bring in a festive atmosphere.

In terms of drinks, this venue still offers the same quality Vietnamese coffee as other Trình Cà Phê outlets, including the signature avocado coffee (VND38,000, ~USD1.63) we highly recommend.
Address: 100/19 Phạm Như Xương Street, Liên Chiểu District, Đà Nẵng

5. De’ Molen Coffee – with windmills and phone booth replicas

De’ Molen turns heads with its European designs – the centerpiece being a giant windmill replica and a London-style phone booth model that you’ll notice immediately as you step into its yard.

Inside, a corner with a Christmas tree covered in cotton that serves as snow, mistletoe, and gift boxes against a white wall is the highlight of this Christmas season.

Here, you can also find many little ornaments, from toy-sized windmills, reindeer statues woven from wires, to European-style lamps and more.

From now until the end of the year, the café is offering several drink-and-cake sets at discounted prices. For example, you can get a bạc sỉu – Vietnamese coffee with extra milk – and tiramisu combo for VND60,000 (~USD2.54) instead of the regular VND75,000 (~USD3.18).

6. Incheon Coffee – traditional Korean-style cafe, now with a twist

Icheon Coffee is normally known for its Korean designs, featuring a traditional Korean-style gate and buildings with tiled roofs and wooden doors. For this Christmas, though, its interior décor has taken on a new spin.

Next to the café’s signature brown bear mascot, you’ll find a fireplace model with mock Christmas trees, reindeer statues, and ornamental snowflakes dangling from the ceiling. Mistletoe framing nearby doors and windows complements the whole corner.

And of course, it’s always a good idea to grab a hot drink on a cold December day. Something like the aromatic, warmly sweet matcha latte (VND39,000, ~USD1.65), perhaps.

Opening hours: 6am-10.30pm, Daily

7. Ante Café – a cozy European-style space
Ante Café is a cozy European-style cafe that offers a quiet space to chill and plenty of photo opportunities. Some sections boast wooden floors and raw brick walls lit by amber lights from chandeliers for a warm-toned backdrop.

Others have artificial flowers dangling from ceilings over comfy sofas and Western-style shelves. You could hardly ask for more.

And yet there is more. With a Christmas tree, some mistletoe laurels, and nutcrackers added around this time of the year, the coziness is cranked up to eleven. You’d almost expect to see a crackling fireplace at some corner.

For drinks, we recommend the coffee with salted caramel cream (VND50,000, ~USD2.12), which rounds up the taste of coffee with some nice salty sweetness.
Address: A43 Trần Văn Trứ Street, Hải Châu District, Đà Nẵng

8. Dream House Coffee – lovely cabin with a plant-filled yard
The spacious grass-covered yard of Dream House Coffee, with bougainvillea trees and a stone path leading up to a lovely cabin that serves as the café’s indoor space, is a sought-after picture spot by itself.

Add a Christmas tree, gift boxes, and some LED lights into the picture, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a better place for Christmas pictures. Do note that the café doesn’t accept guests under 12 years old, so families with kids might want to consider other options.

The indoor space, though small, is also warmly decorated with another Christmas tree next to a piano, all warmly lit with dangling light bulbs.
