Keong Saik is lined with restaurants, bars, and cafes but if you’re looking for happy hour prices all day, head straight to Wine & Chef. The wine menu features sparkling wine for $11, whites and reds for $13-$18, and Aperol for just $9.

Just to reiterate, these prices are available all day, so you don’t have to limit your visits to just after-work tipples. If you work around Outram or Chinatown, consider dropping by on a weekday to enjoy the 4-course lunch set ($21) from 12pm-3pm. Oh, to be tipsy without breaking the bank. Now you can with $8 glasses at Wine Mansion. Drop by during their happy hours of 6pm-8pm to score wine from $8-$10 a glass, which are usually priced from $12-$14. Grab a meal with some grown–up grape juice at one of Wine Mansion’s 4 outlets in Singapore.
Apart from their happy hour promos, there are different daily food promos one can enjoy. These include Japanese oysters for $2.50/piece, free-flow wine for $38, and a free bowl of nachos or fries with any wine bottles.

If you plan on taking bae out for a romantic lunch on your anniversary, we’d suggest 13% Wine Bistro. Head on down between 12pm-5pm on a weekday for $10 glasses of wine, $12 glasses of bubbly, or spirits from $15.
There’s also an executive lunch menu (from $30) with 2 courses on weekdays from 11.30am-2.30pm. Treat yourself and your partner to atas dishes like Duck Confit and Beef Tartare.

Vin Geek does things a little differently than your average wine bar. Sample wines from their wine dispensing machine, which has 3 different tasting measures of 30ml, 90ml, and 150ml. Planning for date night can be difficult, especially if you consistently have to OT at work. Well, you’re in luck because Wine Connection Bistro at Cuppage Terrace is open till 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Apart from its late night opening hours, its wines are also budget-friendly with glasses of rose, red, white, and sweet wines from $8 and prosecco at $9. If you’re heading down for a boozy lunch on the weekdays, you’ll be glad to know that you can top up your vino for just $6 with a set lunch ($16.90).
In case you’re scared of getting called out for being a cheapo, Wine Connection also has an extensive food menu with dishes such as Spanish Paella at $46 (for 2pax) and Moules Frites for $24.

Just like you and bae, Oriole’s happy hour drinks are like 2 peas in a pod. That’s right, 1-for-1 drinks like sangria ($16) and house pour spirits (from $19). Luckily, Oriole is very generous with their happy hour timings from 2pm-8pm from Sundays to Thursdays; as well as 2pm-6pm and 8pm till late at night on Fridays and Saturdays.
While Oriole serves as a bar as soon as the sun sets, it also functions as a cafe during the day. It makes a great setting for those who prefer a light and casual dish for brunch dates. The all-day menu includes dishes like Sweet Soy Pork Ribs ($34) and Spicy Crabmeat Capellini ($28). You can also add on a glass of wine from $11.

Sip yourself silly with reds and whites from Australia, Argentina, and Chile for $8 at Miss G’s Grill and Bar. There’s an ongoing promotion which offers 2 glasses of either rum or whiskey for $14 and 2 glasses of any other liquor like gin and whiskey for $16.
More adventurous drinkers will be thrilled to know that they can score 20 different types of highballs for just $8 a glass.
They also specialise in Japanese cuisine with scrumptious dishes like Bara Chirashi ($14.90) and Truffle Beef Yakiniku ($16.90). There’s also an option for you to make and customise your own rice and salad bowls with all their fix-ins from $7.90.
Meet up for a date at PLONK. With happy hour glasses at $10 till 7pm and non–happy hour glasses from $14-$15, it’s an affordable spot for a boozy fix. They also have a lot of promos available like 2 large draft beers for $20 and wine bottles for $50.
With express set lunches ($15) and breakfast till 3pm, it’s definitely worth the trip. PLONK has many mains and appetisers like their Mushroom Truffle Risotto ($22) and Vongole Linguine ($24) that’s sure to wow your date.
