We can’t all be Elon Musk and board a spacecraft whenever we want, but we can get a taste of it with the SkyOrb Cable Cars. These spherical cabins are the newest addition to the Singapore Cable Car. The space-y chrome finish and LED ring lights on the sides will make you feel like you’re travelling in something pulled straight out of a science-fiction novel.
Another feature of these cabins is their glass-bottomed floors, making you feel like you’re levitating over Sentosa.
The cable cars are only available on the Mount Faber to Sentosa route and can be topped up one way for $15 on weekdays and $20 on weekends. Stacked with the $3 Sentosa Cable Car promo, this would be a great budget date idea.
So if you’re looking for a way to take the cable car experience up a notch, take a ride on the SkyOrb ones.

There’s one thing we can’t get enough of, and that’s cat cafes. And at The Caffeine Experience you get to play with 17 of them. Nestled in Star Vista, this cat cafe even has Maine Coon cats, which are some of the largest, fluffiest cat species in the world.
Despite their size, these fantastic creatures are known to be more like dogs in the sense that they are inherently snuggly and playful around people. Once you’re done playing with the fluffballs, you can refuel with snacks and pastries like Keong Saik Bakery tarts.
With exams, income tax season, and Hari Raya packed into this little month, it’s amazing how these activities squeezed themselves in. Regardless, you should definitely make time for them, so you won’t say bojio when your friends are all taking selfies at the flea markets and shows.
