Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, which means it’s time to start racking your brains for the perfect gift for your SO. If flowers and chocolates are too overrated – and let’s be real, you’d want to impress your partner with something a lil more creative than that – we’ve got just the idea for you.
At The Block Bouquets at Kampong Bahru, you’ll be able to customise Lego flowers for your SO, all for the very reasonable price of $19.90. Bonus points ‘cause these flowers won’t wither.
The Block Bouquets’ DIY workshop is a 40-minute all-you-can-build session. During the allocated time, you’ll get to choose from a variety of flowers to assemble, including crowd faves like roses, tulips, and sunflowers. The Lego blocks come in a wide range of colours too, so you’ll get to pick your partner’s fave shade.
Though the session is self-guided, guests will be provided an instruction manual that’s said to be relatively easy to follow. But if you need extra time to assemble your flowers, you can top up $6.90 for an additional 10 minutes, or simply opt for a longer 1 hour and 20 minute session for $39.90.
Once you’ve assembled the flowers, you can either take them home as is, or convert them into bouquets for $16.90. Basic vases to display your creations in are also sold here from just $5.90.

That’s not all though – if your partner happens to be a Sanrio lover, you’ll be glad to hear that Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Cinnamoroll plushies can be added on for just $9.90 each.
While it’s cute to gift flowers, those with more artsy partners can consider bringing bae along for the workshop, so that they can enjoy the experience of DIY-ing their own flowers too.
The Block Bouquets’ couple workshop costs $85 for 2 pax, and unlike the solo session, is a fully guided workshop.
Whether you’re looking for a unique gift for your lover or a fun activity to do together on Valentine’s Day, The Block Bouquets’ Lego flowers workshop is the perfect way to gift your SO a one-of-a-kind bouquet that won’t perish. And hey, even if you’re celebrating V’day solo, who says you can’t buy yourself flowers?
