There’s A New TCG Store In SG With Learn-To-Play Sessions & Consignment Services For Pokémon Cards

Card Arena at Suntec City

If you somehow missed it in our Singapore Wrapped 2025, Pokémon cards had Singaporeans in a full-on chokehold last year, and we don’t see that obsession dying down anytime soon. Riding the wave is Card Arena, a new trading card game (TCG) store at Suntec City that’s about to become a regular haunt for collectors and players.

What is Card Arena?

Surprise – Card Arena is actually by MyRepublic, that telecommunications company we’re all familiar with. Sounds a little random at first, but the idea behind it is to give the TCG community a space to play, run events, and connect with one another.

MyRepublic also shared that Card Arena isn’t here to step on any toes. Instead, it aims to support the wider TCG ecosystem, and it’s open to working with organisers, shops, and creators. So anyone keen to host tournaments or showcase products can potentially partner with them.

What is there to do at Card Arena?

Take part in matches & learn-to-play sessions

According to its website, the space hosts matches on a weekly basis, monthly tournaments, and even learn-to-play sessions – the last is especially handy if you’re new to the hobby and don’t quite know where to start.

At the time of writing, the next event is happening on 3rd January 2026, titled Magic: The Gathering – Universes Beyond: CHAOS Sealed. Players will battle it out using cards from Final Fantasy, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Spider-Man. It costs $60/pax to join, but you’ll receive 6 sealed packs at the start of the event, so you’re getting your money’s worth.

Shop a range of packs & reprints

Pokémon booster packs are a given, but that’s just the start. You’ll also find packs from other popular franchises like One Piece and Disney Lorcana, along with nostalgic reprints that longtime collectors will appreciate.

All we can say is, get your wallet ready, and maybe bring a few friends along too. Certain boxes or popular packs may have a cap on how many each person can grab.

Sell your cards using their consignment service

Not everyone collects cards just to play – some are in it to make a bit of money, and Card Arena gets that too. The store offers a consignment service that lets you sell your cards without having to liaise with buyers.

Just head down to the shop and fill out a consignment form. The team will walk you through the process, verify your items, and display your cards in their cabinets. It’s a great option if you don’t want to handle lowballers and messages from “interested buyers” who end up ghosting you.

Use the scanner to see your card’s value

One of the most exciting features at Card Arena has to be the card scanner. Simply scan your card, and it’ll show you its current value – prices are listed in USD, but it’s still a handy gauge to see whether that card you just pulled is worth grading or putting up for sale.

Visit Card Arena to kickstart your TCG adventure

There’s something for every kind of collector at Card Arena, and its convenient location at Suntec City also makes it easy to grab a bite or do a little shopping afterwards. Head down soon, as it’s only a matter of time before this spot gets crowded.
