Take Back The Nights: New Video Game-Like Virtual Music Festival With Food Trucks & Games

Take Back The Nights

If shows like Ready Play One and Sword Art Online have shown us anything, it’s that virtual worlds can offer fantastical experiences we could only wish for IRL. For those missing those party nights, prepare yourself for Take Back The Nights, an online music festival happening every first Friday of the month from 6th August5th November 2021.

Be transported onto a virtual planet created by CGI and motion capture technology, where participants can play interactive games, jam to music performances and even fly around the city. Standard tickets are free!

Explore an open world music festival with friends

For non-gamers, an open world refers to a virtual space you can explore freely, much like Minecraft and The Legend of Zelda. You don’t need any fancy VR equipment to access Take Back The Nights, simply click into their website where the music festival will be hosted.

Bid goodbye to 2-pax restrictions here as you hang out with your friends, exchanging emotes and exploring their map that’s complete with three stages and a lineup of 16 local artists

Jive to beats by DJs Inquisitive and Intriguant for EDM remixes that’ll bring you back to the days where dance floors were open and clubs were full. If indie is more your jam, Haneri, Plainsunset and Linying will also be taking the stage with soulful tunes to croon to.

You’ll never find a music festival without food stands. Albeit virtual, Take Back The Nights still brings food and drinks to the table with official partners like The Whisking Well – known for their speciality bake boxes with cookies and cakes – and festival staple Red Bull.

Order your refreshments from virtual food trucks and have them delivered to your doorstep with the click of a button. Other activities in store include interactive games and chat panels – stay tuned to their Facebook page for more details.

Upgrade tickets to fly around the world
