Sentosa Has Glamping By The Beach, $5 Spin Classes & A Festive Market To Sea-riously Unwind

Zentosa Fest 2022

Burnouts can only spell one thing: trouble. But the good news for all of us exhausted hustlers? Some TLC and R&R ought to be the perfect remedy. Enter the sun, sand, and sea on Sentosa this upcoming month. Other than beach clubs and staycation galore, the island will be hosting its inaugural Zentosa Fest 2022, running from 3rd-30th June 2022

Think glamping with your friends by the sea and affordable $5 spin classes. There are more than 50 activities packed into the 500-hectare festival zone on Palawan Beach.

Each waterfront tent fits up to 4 people and comes with 2 queen-sized beds, a picnic mat, air coolers and 24-hour security. To top it all off, guests get complimentary breakfast, 8 sessions of Zentosa Fest activities and workshops, plus parking coupons. Swee.

Prices start from $388/night for weekdays; $310.40/night if you use Mastercard and  $279.36/night (or from $70/pax) if you’re an Islander member. Signups for Sentosa Islander Memberships are free.

Enjoy outdoor spin, trampoline & barre classes, all at $5 each

If you’re familiar with the grassy patch that is Palawan Green, you’ll know that it’s been host to plenty of events. From 3rd-19th June 2022, it’ll be host to workshops, classes and outdoor performances.

Highly coveted spin classes don’t have to cost an arm and a leg. The same goes for barre sessions. During this festival, tickets to Abvolution Wellness’ outdoor fitness cycling classes and barre workouts will both be available at just $5 each for an hour-long class.

Also priced at just $5 are trampoline workouts, mural painting classes, and paper muppet workshops. For a better deal, you can also purchase a Zentosa Wellness Pass, which gives you access to 12 activities and workshops for $50

Aquabike classes will also be available.

Free yoga classes, jazz performances and talks are also on the calendar. All you need to do is sign up on Zentosa Fest’s website before tickets run out.

Visit an outdoor “Festive Market” and food zone

If you haven’t had enough of the bubbly bazaars of the Ramadan season, keep your eyes peeled for the Festive Market, an outdoor marketplace happening near Palawan Kidz City. Running from Fridays to Sundays during the festival period, this will be where you can shop a myriad of paraphernalia from local businesses.

Once the tummy starts to grumble, refuel at the food zone, Tuckshop where F&B stores will be offering healthy nosh at 20% off when you pay with a Mastercard.

Unwind at Zentosa Fest 2022

With borders now opening, many of our friends will be spending June sussing out things to do in JB, or exploring Bintan’s affordable resorts. But us beach bums would say: “namast’ay at the beach instead”. Swing by Zentosa Fest 2022, a part of Sentosa’s 50th-anniversary celebrations and Wellness Festival Singapore, for a wholesome day out by the sea.
