Fairmont Singapore Has 3 New Gaming Suites, Decked Out With All-New Razer Equipment

Fairmont Singapore gaming suites

Before e-girls and e-boys played video games in front of online audiences, there were gamers at LAN shops smashing keyboards.

Now, there’s a new kid on the block. Fairmont Singapore’s gaming suites are the first of their kind, combining the luxurious amenities of a hotel stay with Razer gaming equipment and furniture, to create an experience that’s truly a level up from your typical LAN shop.

More for gamers:

3 unique gaming suites that accommodate up to 10 people each

OGs will know of the chaos that can ensue in a LAN shop: cramped gaming stations separated by dividers just thin enough for you to hear the victorious cheers or defeated groans of those around. Let’s not forget the chairs that have definitely seen better days.

Here, there’s none of that.

Whether you’re a laidback gamer who plays Overcooked to pass the time or a league member climbing the ranks in Valorant, there’s a suite that will suit your needs.

If you identify with the first, pop a squat on the plush sofa or a bean bag at the Razer Console Lounge. You’ll also have your choice of countless Xbox and PlayStation 5 games to play on the massive 70-inch TV.

On the other hand, the Razer Mercury Suite and Razer Gamer and Streamer Suite are better suited to those looking for a more intense gaming experience.

Both are decked out with Razer gaming equipment and furniture, so you can play for hours without worrying about lagging games or aching backs.

No sweat if you’re not a player but still enjoy catching the thrills of e-sports. The Razer Gamer and Streamer Suite has wall-mounted TVs for you to catch other players’ streams. And if they’ve inspired you to start your own Twitch channel, there’s even a booth armed with Razer’s broadcast line-up to host your own games.

Enjoy room service while you game

Other than having equipment that’s a cut above the rest, the Fairmont gaming suites seem to be much like any other LAN shop. That is, until you realise they also have room service. Just as if you were an overnight guest at the hotel, finger food is just a call away, so there’s no chance you’ll go hungry.

Go for the Prego Charcuterie and Cheese ($18) if you’re feeling fancy, The Classic Cheese Burger ($18) if your hunger to win turns literal, or the Buffalo Chicken Wings ($18) to share if you can’t down a whole meal on your own. You can even pull from the fully loaded mini bar, stocked with all the chips, candy and chocolate you can eat.

Visit the Fairmont Gaming Suites

All this gaming action is available in 2 or 4-hour blocks, starting from $180, depending on the suite you book. To sweeten the deal, you’ll even get perks like a 10% discount on all overnight stays at Fairmont Singapore if you decide to take the party offline. You’ll also get 10% off dining at the in-house restaurants, and day passes to the Willow Stream Spa at $40 (U.P. $69).

The gaming suites are available to book from now till April 2023, so if you want to make sure you get to experience gaming like a baller, you’ll want to secure your slot in advance.
