Senja Inline Skating Rink, Senja Go Trail & Senja Warrior Course

Folks residing in Bukit Panjang, more specifically Senja, can look forward to spending some wholesome family fun at a couple of new spots within your neighbourhood. The Senja Inline Skating Rink just opened a couple of days back, and along with the Senja Go Trail and Senja Warrior Course, there’s much to get excited about when you’re looking to get active.

Here’s all you need to know before you swing by these new facilities, all of which are just a short walk away from the closest LRT station.

Getting to the Senja Inline Skating Rink, Senja Go Trail and Senja Warrior Course is simple, as they’re all within walking distance from each other. The Senja Inline Skating Rink is a 3-minute walk from the Jelapang LRT station, while the Senja Go Trail and Senja Warrior Course are a 5-minute walk from the station.

If you’re coming from Bukit Panjang, you can opt to take bus no. 922 which departs from Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, and alight at the Blk 617 bus stop (stop ID: 44651). It’s just 4 bus stops from the interchange, and the Senja Inline Skating Rink will just be a 3-minute walk away.

Do note that because the rink is so new, you won’t be able to find it online as a Google Maps listing just yet. However, according to MP Edward Chia, its physical address is 7 Senja Link, Singapore 677641, near Block 621 Senja Road.

The new Senja Inline Skating Rink was built as part of Sport Singapore’s Sport-in-Precinct initiative which aims to provide sport facilities that are easily accessible for all Singaporeans. Opened in late August 2026, it’s the Little Red Dot’s first-ever neighbourhood inline skating rink, and is free for all to use, no booking required.

The residents living near the Zhenghua-Senja Square Residents’ Network will have noticed that the hard court right outside the RN has been turned into an outdoor skating rink. However, no further supporting facilities or services to go with the opening of the skating rink have been announced, so you’ll have to bring your own skates, knee and elbow guards, and cones if you’d like to practice here.

But for beginners interested in picking up the sport, there are plans by the RN to organise inline skating classes that’ll be held at the Senja Inline Skating Rink. You can indicate your interest for these classes, which will cost $100 for 4 sessions, and leave any additional feedback via this gov.sg form.

Nearby, the Senja Warrior Course is where fitness junkies can clock in a solid workout. Firstly, a 400m-long running track with 2 lanes encompasses the course, which is perfect for getting your laps in when training for your upcoming IPPT. There are also a couple of GymGuru-branded outdoor fitness machines that anyone can have a go at.

On the opposite side of the fitness machines lies an obstacle course that’s perfect for energetic kids to scamper all over. There are little stumps to leap on, a rope bridge to conquer, and suspended logs to test your balance.

Over at the Senja Go Trail, there is a similar 2-lane running track for leisurely jogs, although the loop here doesn’t seem as long as the one at the Senja Warrior Course. It’s clear that the Senja Go Trail is catered mainly to children, as the entire place is essentially a giant obstacle course with 2 small play structures within it.

For starters, the kids are sure to enjoy bouncing about on trampolines built into the ground or jumping over small rubber mounds. Meanwhile, a small play structure provides plenty of opportunities to test their nimble feet and hands as they scale a sloping surface. On the other end of the trail, there’s also a more traditional playground with a small slide to whoosh down.

Should your little one wish to further show their mettle, have them take on a Ninja Warrior-inspired obstacle course. It begins with a netted structure to either climb over or crawl under, which leads to a pair of ramps to jump between repeatedly to advance. Lastly, they are tasked with swinging from the monkey bars for a triumphant finish.
