16 Padel Courts In Singapore From $30/H, Including Air-Conditioned Spots & Upcoming Openings

Padel courts & clubs in Singapore

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would have definitely seen the pickleball craze in Singapore. But if you want to play another racket sport that’s same same but different, try out padel for a change.

With a growing community in Singapore, we’ve compiled some padel clubs and courts for you to give the sport a shot.

What is the difference between pickleball & padel?

padel vs pickleball

Although pickleball and padel look pretty similar, they do have many differences. For instance, pickleball equipment includes paddles and plastic balls, whereas padel players rally using solid rackets with holes and balls similar to tennis balls, but with less pressure in them.

Naturally, the rules of the game are also different. While pickleball is played on a rally-scoring system, padel’s points are counted just like tennis, so you may be hearing a lot of love in a game.

The court you play on is perhaps the biggest difference – unlike pickleball, with its fully-open courts, padel courts are uniquely surrounded by walls, which can be used in gameplay. In this sense, you can think of padel as a hybrid between tennis and squash.
