SG’s First Mugiwara Store Is Opening At Jewel, With Photo Spots & Official One Piece Merch

If you’re familiar with the world of anime, you’ll often hear the phrase “big 3” thrown around whenever debates are held over which series is the most popular among them all. For the uninitiated, the term refers to Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece, arguably 3 of the most well-known series of all time.

Which is why the news of the opening of Singapore’s very first Mugiwara Store in Jewel Changi Airport later this September will be music to the ears of fans of One Piece. It’s a store dedicated solely to providing an exclusive retail experience for enthusiasts of the pirate-themed series; here’s the latest on what the space has to offer, from official merch to swanky photo spots.

What to expect from the Mugiwara Store in Singapore?

The Mugiwara Store in Singapore is set to open in Jewel Changi Airport on 12th September 2025 at Level 4, units 235/236. The store gets its name from the Japanese abbreviation of the swashbuckling Straw Hat Pirates crew led by the series’ main character, Luffy.

Singapore’s Mugiwara Store will be the 2nd of its kind to operate outside of Japan, with the other being docked in the Bailian ZX Creative Center in Shanghai. The remaining 11 outlets, along with a couple of smaller branches, operate exclusively in Japan, so the opening of one in the Little Red Dot is massive news for fans, who no longer have to hop on a plane to set foot in a One Piece wonderland.

Although information on the store is scarce, you can expect it to be filled with decor that brings the animated world of One Piece to life. If the ones in Japan are anything to go by, photo ops include life-sized statues of beloved characters, blown-up comic panels featuring iconic scenes, and galleries of stunning original artwork drawn by the series’ legendary creator, Eiichiro Oda.

But of course, the main draw of any Mugiwara Store will be its One Piece-related merchandise for sale. While we’re unsure what Singapore’s inventory will look like, rest assured that you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to filling up your shopping basket here.
