Miffy’s Garden beach birthday party at Changi Airport
If you’ve recently stopped by Changi Airport, you would have stumbled across a certain little Dutch rabbit gracing our airport halls. That’s because Miffy is celebrating her 70th anniversary with the Miffy’s Garden pop-up event.
From now until 13th July, you’re invited to Miffy’s Beach Birthday Party – an exciting limited-time event that features a whole line-up of Changi-exclusive Miffy & Friends attractions and merch. Here’s everything you need to know about the bunny’s big birthday bash.
How much are the activities at Miffy’s Beach Birthday Party?
While it is free for everyone to browse the pop-up shops and photo zones, you will need an Activity Pass to participate in the other activities and attractions around Miffy’s Beach Birthday Party. These will cost $15 each if directly purchased from the Changi App. This minimum spend will also apply to many other merchandise redemptions available at the event.
However, you can redeem the pass for $5 when you shop at the Changi Airport public areas. You can get this discounted Activity Pass with a minimum spend of $50 at retail shops and eateries or $80 at supermarkets, with a maximum of 3 Passes redeemable per receipt. Miffy’s Beach Party Bounce

Dive right into Miffy’s Beach Party Bounce, an inflatable playground and ball pit for kids to slide and play in. It’s set in an enormous sandcastle, perfect to mimic a fun day at the beach without all the sand and heat. The playground also comes with a multitude of play areas, like a character merry-go-round and massive umbrella swings.
Do take note of some of the entry requirements – children must be at least 0.9m tall to enter, and those under 1.1m in height must be accompanied by an adult. Socks are compulsory at this attraction too.

Miffy & Friends colourful photo spots

Scattered across various locations in Terminal 2 and 3, Miffy’s interactive photo spots are the perfect way to make some memories with the kids. Pose with a larger-than-life, 5.5m-tall birthday cake at the Terminal 3 Level 2 Central Immigration area or chill at the ‘beach’ with the Miffy display at the Terminal 3 Basement 2 ST3PS.
You can also check out the colourful beach houses at the retail pop-up near Kenangan Coffee at Terminal 2.
Interactive activities for the kids

Engage your curious little ones with interactive games like Miffy’s Memory Match and Miffy’s Birthday Dash. At the Terminal 3 Departure Hall, kids will be able to explore, learn, and have fun with the different games.
In Miffy’s Memory Match, kids will help Miffy, Melanie, and Boris uncover hidden treasures by matching hidden items on-screen. For active youngsters with boundless energy, Miffy’s Birthday Dash is the perfect activity to satisfy them. Competitors will have to race against each other to the beach and pedal their way to new high scores.

For a little arts and craft, redeem a free Miffy beaded wrist strap with a minimum spend of $50 in the Changi Airport public areas. Then, customise it with charms for $2 apiece at the Terminal 3 Basement 2 pop-up, opposite Kopitiam. It’s a great way to commemorate your visit and to take home your very own personalised memorabilia.
Miffy’s meet-and-greet

Celebrate with Miffy and Boris and enjoy a live song-and-dance performance by this adorable rabbit-bear duo. Located at the ST3PS at Terminal 3, Basement 2, kids and Miffy fans will be enthralled by a whole load of cuteness, music, and fun.
It’s free for all, and there are 2 30-minute sessions daily: one at 2pm and one at 5pm. Each session is limited to 50 participants, on a first-come-first-served basis. You can collect your meet-and-greet entrance passes at the area near ST3PS up to an hour before the session, in other words, at 1pm and 4pm.
For a photo opportunity with Miffy and Boris, present your qualifying minimum-spend receipt to redeem a meet-and-greet photo pass after you’ve shopped or dined at Changi Airport’s public areas. Take note that purchases must be made on the same day as the meet-and-greet session to qualify for the pass redemption.

Miffy’s birthday celebration

For Miffy’s official birthday on 21st June, head to the ST3PS for games, photo prints, and a live performance by Miffy and Boris. At this birthday bash, you can bring home exclusive goody bags with Miffy merchandise, including a Miffy headband, a slice of cake, and a randomised selection of Miffy goods. These include a handheld fan, pen, coaster, tumbler, keypad keychain, stickers, and a “pick-a-name” keychain.
You have to hit the minimum spend to be able to buy the Miffy’s 70th Birthday Celebration Passes. It costs $14.90 per Birthday Celebration Pass, or $66.90 for 5 passes.

Find all 5 beach-themed retail pop-ups at Terminals 2, 3, and 4 across Changi Airport and bring home adorable Miffy merchandise. Of the 5 locations, 3 of them can be found at Terminal 3, while Terminals 2 and 4 have 1 each.
At Terminal 3, the outlets can be found at the Level 2 Departure Hall, as well as in Basement 2 opposite Kopitiam and beside Swensen’s. The other outlets can be found at Terminal 2 Level 2, near Kenangan Coffee, and at Terminal 4 Level 2, next to Starbucks.
The extensive merch list includes T-shirts (from $35) for all ages, Miffy plushies (from $34.90), canvas tote bags (from $29), keychains (from $12.90), lunch boxes (from $25), and tumblers ($24.90).

That’s not all – you can redeem goodies and collect Changi-exclusive Miffy premiums when you spend at Changi’s public shopping areas or on the Changi Rewards catalogue. With your minimum spend, redeem Miffy keychain charms ($4.90) in 2 different designs. Other useful travel-themed goods up for grabs include matching tote bags ($8.90), laptop sleeves ($11.90), and travel tumblers with bags ($14.90).
While you’re here, you’ll also be able to redeem a free Changi Rewards-exclusive merch set of a Miffy trolley and camping chair. To qualify, you have to spend an accumulated $800 at participating outlets in the Terminal 1-4 public areas, excluding Jewel Changi Airport. Do note that transactions on all receipts must be at least $10 to qualify.

iShopChangi & Changi App

If you’re more of an online shopper, you can use iShop Changi or the Changi App to snag your goods. Spend $60 on iShopChangi to be eligible to purchase an online-exclusive Miffy Picnic Set ($25), featuring a picnic mat and thermal lunch bag. With the same minimum spend of $60, you can also buy these products a la carte at $16 each.
The Changi App is also having a Miffy’s Celebration Quest from now until 29th June – if you complete missions and games on the app, you’ll gather different Miffy & Friends characters to unlock exciting rewards. Collecting 4 of the 6 different characters will let you redeem the Changi App-exclusive Miffy Celebration Set, which includes a cabin luggage, foldable backpacks, and pouches.
