We once revealed some juicy Mediacorp secrets, one of which was how they have clearance sales from time to time to shop outfits shown on TV. Well, if you’ve ever loved an outfit that you’ve seen on a show, you’re going to want to check out this 2-day event: the Mediacorp production wardrobe sale.
Open to the public on 15th and 16th January 2025, the warehouse sale sees racks and racks of clothes that were once worn by local celebrities.
There’s no doubt that most of what we see actors wear on TV is meticulously handpicked by professional stylists. So, you know you’re going to find quality pieces to add to your wardrobe at this sale.
A lot of these clothes were only worn by the celebrities once or barely used… practically brand new, we say. Yet, they are being sold at heavily discounted prices – as low as $1, in fact. Expect to see brands like Zara, Nike, Benjamin Barker, and Charles & Keith.
Given that these outfits were worn for entertainment, there are plenty of fun and colourful as well as more elaborate pieces that can be picked up. This includes flowy gowns and patterned jackets. See if you can spot which TV show these were worn on.
Apart from clothes, there are also accessories, shoes, and bags up for grabs. Plus, some props such as home decor items like plants are available too.
