ME Cafe & Games at Orchard
We’re all familiar with board game cafes if you’re looking for a place to hang out with your friends over more than just HTHT convos. Well, there’s a new kid on the block – ME Cafe & Games, which has opened a new outlet at Orchard Gateway.
But don’t think for a second that this is another run-of-the-mill cafe that just has board games to rent. This one is themed to look like a camping ground and even has cats you can pet. Here’s what you can expect:
More than 70 board & console games available
It goes without saying that this games cafe has well, games you can play. There are more than 30 board games available, including familiar names like Cards Against Humanity and The Singaporean Dream. But if your crew is looking for something new to wage war against each other, there are newer titles like Love Letter and Wavelength.

Don’t worry if you’re not up to memorise a bunch of rules just to play a game. The titles available are easy to pick up. Plus, if you’re ever confused over who’s actually winning, the friendly staff can easily settle that for you.

Those that prefer the visual and audio stimulation of video games can reach for the Nintendo Switch games instead. There are 40 in the library, with crowd favourites like Mario Party Superstars, Just Dance, and 1-2-Switch that will bring out your competitive side.
But if you’d rather not show that side of yourself, you can also get single-player games like Pokémon Legends Arceus and The Legend of Zelda.
Play in private glamping tents

Now, with game cafes, you’d think tables and chairs would suffice, but Me Cafe & Games switches things up with private gaming tents. It’s pretty much like glamping, complete with folding chairs, picnic tables, and fairy lights. It’ll even seem like you’re outdoors as the tents are parked under artificial trees and foliage, and the ground is covered in loose gravel.

The good news is that you’re safe from the elements like the blazing hot sun or unpredictable rain. Instead, you’ll be in the cool of air-conditioning as you tell your opponent to draw 4.
Pet free roaming cats

Since you’re “outdoors”, be prepared to come face-to-face with a couple of wild animals as well. This place is also part cat cafe where you’ll find felines roaming around.

We’re told the kitties like cuddles, but just be gentle when handling them. If you want to get their attention, there are also cat toys like feather toy wands and small balls for them to chase.

You’d think that with so many activities packed under one roof, you’d be paying through the nose to experience them all. But prices for the Basic Campout, which includes petting cats and unlimited board games, start at $18.80/pax for the first hour and $10 for every subsequent hour.
If you want the glamping tents and access to console games, you’ll have to upgrade to the Ultimate Campout package, which starts at $20.80/pax for the first hour and $12 for every subsequent hour.
Should that prove too steep, you can make your way to ME Cafe & Games right now to catch the ongoing promo of $10/pax per hour for the Basic Campout package and $12/pax per hour for the Ultimate Campout package.
The best part? ME Cafe & Games closes at 11pm daily, so there’s no need to rush through a game without declaring a winner.
