I may have outgrown my Barbies and forgotten all about my Mighty Beanz collection (RIP), but there’s one childhood treasure that still stays close to my almost 30-year-old heart: LEGO.
From IKEA collaborations to special exhibits at the zoo, LEGO hasn’t failed to keep its flame alive through the ages. This time, fans can look forward to its latest release: the Singapore 21057 set under its Architecture Skyline Collection.

LEGO is known for its elaborate sets featuring international landmarks like the Taj Mahal and Eiffel Tower. This time, Singapore is joining the ranks with a mini recreation of its iconic skyline. Singapore 21057 is also the largest set in the Architecture Skyline Collection yet – a big feat for our little red dot.
Singapore has never looked this cute, honestly.

Collectors will be able to build recognisable landmarks like Gardens by the Bay’s supertrees, Marina Bay Sands, and even Lau Pa Sat, OCBC Centre and One Raffles Place.
Made up of 827 pieces to put together, the set measures 16CM x 28CM x 9CM and makes for an adorable addition to any desk or display cabinet at home.

And if you haven’t had the pleasure of building a LEGO set up from scratch since graduating primary school, whatchu been doin’? Sure, dealing with 1,000 tiny building blocks might be intimidating, but it’s a pretty chill activity once you get into the hang of it. Who knows, it might be your equivalent of a therapeutic art jamming or cycling sesh.

Seeing your creation slowly come to life also makes the final result much sweeter – this set could even make for a great present for a loved one abroad who’s missing Singapore a little extra.

If we needed any indication that 2022 is ringing in good things only, it’s the fact that the Singapore 21057 set will be launched. And let’s be real – whether you’re 5, 15, or 50, there is truly no shame in showing your love for LEGO.
The set will be retailing at $99.90 and sold at LEGO certified stores, its official online store on Shopee, Lazada, and Amazon, as well as at major department stores across the island.
Those interested in purchasing the set can stay tuned to LEGO Singapore’s Facebook page for official updates.
