Open to all Singapore students

For many Singaporeans, the phrase, “add to cart, now!” stirs up the visuals of hunky Korean actor Lee Min-ho. If such viral campaigns inspire you to flaunt your creative side, you’ll want to get in on LazPitch, Lazada’s first-ever case competition.
The competition is open to all students in Singapore below the age of 25, from all disciplines. That means, even if you’re not in an eCommerce-related course, you can still try your hand at planning a real-life campaign.
You’ll get to experience various areas such as social media marketing and project management
Teamwork makes the dream work, so sign up with your friends to form a team of three or four members. Experience first-hand the rigours of planning and executing a campaign – something that will give you a solid foundation if you’re an undergraduate looking to join the eCommerce industry.
Watch your hard work pay off as the winners will get an $8,000 reward and guaranteed internships at Lazada. Shoot your shot as registration opens on 1st July and closes on 15th August 2021.
Plan and execute a real-life campaign
Get those creative juices flowing, because you’ll have to plan a proposal based on a marketing brief provided by Lazada. Submit your proposal by 15th August 2021, and you could very well emerge as one of the 10 shortlisted teams.
These teams will get to pitch their ideas in front of a panel of judges, a la Shark Tank. The judges will then vote for their favourite ideas and five teams will get to move on to the final round.
If you’ve made it this far, congratulations, because the top five teams will get to learn topics such as campaign planning, live streaming, and social and user engagement from Lazada experts themselves.
You’ll even get a budget to work with, making this as close to a real-life working experience as possible.
Equipped with this new knowledge and guidance, your team will be tasked to fine-tune your initial proposal to showcase on Lazada’s platform in September/October 2021. The top five teams will go head-to-head in a campaign battle with the ultimate goal of reeling in the most traffic, engagement and revenue.
The winner of LazPitch will be determined by the real-life success of each team’s campaign.
