We’re seeing more and more indoor playgrounds sprouting up around Singapore. But Action Motion at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir has one unique twist – augmented reality (AR). There are your usual climbing walls and obstacle courses, but you’ll also need to interact with virtual elements to score points against your friends and other visitors to the playground.
Add your scores to the leaderboard by scanning your wristbands before each activity. Then, put your agility and physical fitness to the test on the indoor rock wall, rope swing, and balance beams. High scores aren’t for bragging to your friends; you’ll also receive prizes if you’re the top scorer of the day and month.
At 4.5 stories high and 14m long, the slide at Adventure HQ at HomeTeamNS Khatib is the longest indoor slide in Singapore. But that’s not all the indoor playground for adults is known for.
Parabolic slide.
True to its name, Adventure HQ has various thrill zones like the parabolic slide, where you’ll experience a vertical drop from 8m up. There’s also a flying fox and skyscraper blocks to climb on if you’re looking to conquer your fear of heights.
If you feel more comfortable being on the ground, explore the very realistic recreation of a network of caves. Challenge yourselves by doing it in complete darkness for a more realistic experience.

The Khatib location is Peranakan-inspired that includes Peranakan tiles and even a rest area that looks like an old school kopitiam. Children can run around in the ball pit, mini obstacle courses, and slides, or they can even choose to do Peranakan craft sessions held every Friday to Sunday.

Over at Bukit Batok, the indoor playground is themed around transportation instead. There are model airplanes, rockets, and trains for kids to explore. These even feature soundbites from locomotives and air traffic controllers for a more interactive experience.
Only about half of Singapore will ever get the opportunity to fire a gun. For the rest of us, your opportunity can happen at airsoft arena TactSim.
Take your skills from the realm of online shooting games to real life with various team games like Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and Strike Team. They also have player-versus-enemy modes where you can show off your aim on targets at the range.
Work together to dominate other players in the unique arena with moving wall panels or take down targets together at the range – it’s a great opportunity to improve teamwork and communication skills as well.
