Cute baby animals have been taking the world by storm as of late. Though we may not have our own Moo Deng or Pesto, we can still show our love to all the residents of the Singapore Zoo this December. Glamping in the Wild is returning in its full glory with a special theme this year.
From 6th-29th December 2024, you can spend a night at the zoo fawning over the adorable animals with Snoopy and friends.

Glamping in the Wild is a family-friendly program organised by the Singapore Zoo, offering a chance for animal lovers to reconnect with nature and its wildlife by staying a night outdoors in a dome tent along the Upper Seletar Reservoir. And if you’re wondering, yes, the tents are air-conditioned.
Instead of rushing around to meet all the resident animals on a day’s trip, you’ll get to stroll through the zoo during the 2D1N glamping stay. Experience exclusive encounters with the animals during the day, and head back to a luxurious tent to unwind when the sun sets.
Apart from the resident animals you’ll be meeting, this year’s Glamping in the Wild sees the addition of a certain white beagle and his scouts. That’s right, Snoopy is here to steal the show and in light of the festive season, there are special themed activities as part of the Snoopy Beagle Scouts at Festive Wild-erland.
Families with young ones tagging along will have a Snoopy mission booklet with 4 checkpoints to complete along the zoo trails. Once completed, you can redeem the points for exclusive badges.
The adults aren’t missing out on the fun either. Older fans of the PEANUTS gang can participate in the digital version of the adventure. There are 10 stops in total, and simply download the Mandai app (App Store | Google Play) and complete all missions to earn exclusive Snoopy-designed pins.
Besides that, there are also plenty of photo ops, such as the larger-than-life doghouse and Snoopy statues peppered around the zoo.

If Dumbo was your favourite character growing up, then you’re going to love this one. Spend some time with the resident elephants in the zoo with the Backstage Pass: Elephant Encounters.
Fun fact: did you know that the elephants at the Singapore Zoo are all females? Well, now you do, and you’ll be taken on a guided walk to meet the friendly herd. It’s called a backstage pass for a reason, so join the team behind the scenes to see how they care for the elephants daily. You’ll even get a chance to feed the gentle giants yourself.
Head on the Wild Africa guided tour to meet the rest of the zoo animals. It’s similar to safari tours in Africa but without breaking the bank.
Spot zebras, adorable meerkats, red river hogs, and the king of the jungles, the African lion.
Animal feedings are part of the program, so don’t worry. In fact, a designated White Rhino feeding session is planned in the itinerary as well.

Guests can look forward to dining at the Forest Lodge, where the chefs prepare a fixed dinner menu in-house. Options include local delights and international dishes, such as laksa and ramen, and kids-friendly meals of nuggets and fries.
For day 2 of the stay, start your day by greeting the swinging orangutans during Breakfast in the Wild. Get in touch with nature during this dining experience, and depending on the rotations and animal conditions, you might be able to snap a picture and interact with the zoo’s wildlife ambassadors, such as the sea lions and Bengal eagle owls.
Breakfast is served at the Ah Meng Restaurant, and the meals are planet-friendly. There are fresh fruits, pastries, and traditional dishes like dim sum and nasi lemak.
You can now experience the 2D1N glamping stay for $1,699/tent, which fits up to 4 people. The program starts this December and is only available on Fridays through Sundays. The itinerary runs from 1.30pm till 10am the next day. Families planning to bring along the little ones, note that the minimum age is 5 years old.
So, if you aren’t planning a year-end trip to the bustling cities of Japan or Korea, consider becoming one with the animals with this unique glamping experience. Just to be clear, the price is inclusive of the accommodation, all the tours, and meals.
