If you’ve resolved to stay in sunny Singapore for the mid-year break, then consider setting aside some time for these family-friendly things to do in June 2024. From pop-ups featuring the lil’ uns favourite characters to the long-awaited reopening of KidZania, the children are bound to have a blast.

This June, the mall will be welcoming yet another kid-centric haunt as part of their School Holidays Fiesta. Kiztopia will be setting up a Jumptopia Lite (from $12/30 mins) inflatable playground at the Central Atrium from 29th May to 17th June 2024, complete with slides to whiz on and bubble-like beach balls.
If that’s not enough for your child’s boundless energy, there’ll be yet another inflatable playground in the form of the Candy PlayLand at the Marina Foyer from 18th-23rd June 2024. This one’s free to enter; visitors will just have to download the Marina Square app on the App Store or Google Play and register for a membership for 10 minutes of playtime.
To coincide with the theatrical release of Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2, the quirky characters from the film have made the iconic Supertree Grove their temporary home. As part of the Gardens by the Bay Children’s Festival 2024, the venue will feature 6 free interactive stations, each modelled after the various emotions portrayed in the movie.
Stop by the Kaleidoscopes of Memories station to create your very own Memory Orb, just like the ones seen on the big screen. Also, have a go at the swings at the aptly named Mood Swings, or build your own cosy pillow fort at Fort Pillowtown.
Then, wrap your day up with free outdoor movie screenings happening on 25th-26th May and 1st-2nd June 2024; the reel includes fan favourites like Finding Dory and Incredibles 2.
For your little one who is extra active, get them to slap on a pair of running shoes for the Cold Storage Kids Run 2024. This year, the annual kids run is happening over at Sentosa, on Palawan Beach, and there’ll be 2 categories to sign up to cater to kids of varying ages.

Children aged 7-9 will compete in a 1.6km run, while those aged 10-12 will race on a 2km route, and the top 3 runners in each category will win hampers worth up to $400. But, everyone’s a winner, as all participants will walk away with freebies like an exclusive event t-shirt, medal, cap, and goodie bag, as well as free entry into Sentosa for the day.
Concurrently, there’ll also be a brand new pet-friendly run called the Woof-berry run, where pet owners can run alongside their furry friends. Do spend some time at the on-site carnival too; shoot some hoops at the basketball arcade, go bananas in the bouncy castle, or show off your creativity at tote bag colouring workshops.

Of course, this one’s located at Marina Square too; you can’t give the Dinosaur Adventure Park 2.0 (from $31/pax) a miss if the kiddo is infatuated with prehistoric creatures. It’s a dinosaur-themed indoor playground fronted by huge animatronics of recognisable dinos like the long-necked Brontosaurus.

Apart from getting up close to these life-like replicas, children can saddle up and take a ride on Triceratops, while those who like to get their hands dirty can dig for fossils in a sand pit. Snap a pic in between the jaws of a T-Rex, or go for a round of thrills at the Mini Dinosaur Viking and the Spinning Dinosaur Eggs.
It’s no secret that there are a slew of kid-friendly things to do at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi, and the upcoming Jewel Blooms: What A Feelin5 is one of them. Visitors to Jewel Changi can expect to feast their eyes on over 1,500 florals on display in the Canopy Park.
Besides being easy on the eyes, the event is also hosting a marketplace where you can buy plants, flowers, and handicrafts like cute crochet flowers. Kids can also participate in a floral decoration competition ($30), where they’ll have an hour to design a floral artwork with a surprise selection of fresh flowers and leaves.

If mum and dad would like to get their green fingers involved too, then sign up for their Enchanted Night at the Airport (from $98) overnight camp. The whole fam will get to experience a whimsical sleepover at Changi Airport, while learning more about nature through activities like a floral resin workshop and the Be an Airport Horticulturist Family Quest.

If you and your child are already regulars at Tayo Station, they’re giving you a new reason for a repeat visit this June holiday with their Hop on to Tayo Station bus ride ($15). From 24th May to23rd June 2024, they’ll be arranging for a chartered bus service to bring you and your kid from Tampines MRT Exit B to Downtown East.
You can also catch a ride the opposite way, from Downtown East to Tampines MRT station if you’d like.

This ain’t your regular coach though; the vehicle’s paint job resembles that of Tayo Station’s mascot, Tayo the Little Bus. Besides ferrying you to Downtown East where Tayo Station is housed, the bus ride also comes with a complimentary lanyard for the children, plus they’ll get to bump shoulders with Hana and Rookie from the cartoon series.
In case you’re not familiar with SuperPark Singapore, they’re a huge indoor activity park situated in Suntec City that’s packed with 20 adrenaline-pumping stations for all ages to enjoy. It’s a hit with the kids, as you can see hordes of them jumping on trampolines and whizzing down the tube slides on any given weekend.

Well, get ready to gear up for a SuperJune at Super Park, as they’re prepping for a Minecraft-themed overhaul of the place once June hits. The details are still up in the air, but we’ve got word that SuperPark will be setting up a Minecraft airbrush tattoo station, as well as a football tournament with prizes such as PRIME drinks, Takis chips, and Mr Beast chocolate bars on the line.
Budding wildlife enthusiasts will get a pleasant surprise when they swing by the Singapore Zoo and River Wonders this June. The folks over at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve are hosting the Zoolympix, a sports-themed celebration complemented by the wild wonders of nature.

From 25th May to 25th August 2024, there’ll be a bunch of interactive stations peppered around the Singapore Zoo and River Wonders to test your mettle. These include a stationary bike station, where you pedal as quickly as you can to see if you can output more energy than an electric eel.
Your efforts won’t go unnoticed, as you can redeem exclusive medal-like pins over at the nearby Champions Village. Strike a triumphant pose at the podium photo spot, and get hands-on with torch-crafting and pouch-making workshops. Also, don’t forget to say hi to the penguins, fennec foxes, and snakes making an appearance at the Champions Village.
We don’t blame you for wanting a respite from Singapore’s scorching weather, so head down to the tried-and-tested Wild Wild Wet. To further entice you to visit in the coming month, the water theme park will be hosting their Marine Marvels – Guardian of the Sea Species.

You’ll want to make a beeline for their Wave Wonder Zone, which comprises of a massive inflatable obstacle course, the longest of its kind in Singapore. Wade through its coral reef-inspired sections; you’ll have to conquer symbolic obstacles of plastic pollution and overfishing.
Keeping with the overarching theme of conservation, there’s also a host of interactive activities that teach kids the importance of preserving our marine life. Look out for the digital panels on pollution awareness and storytelling sessions on endangered animal species; plus you even get to hand feed a school of vibrant koi fish with milk bottles.
Another pop-up inspired by an upcoming movie, the endearing minions from the Despicable Me movies will be invading Suntec City for the holidays. The Despicable Me 4: Mega Mission installation will see the minions taking over Suntec City’s Tower 1 and 2 Atrium from 23rd May to 14th July 2024.
Sign up for a Suntec City membership via their Suntec + app available on the App Store and Google Play for free, and enrol your lil’ troublemakers into the Anti-Villain League Academy – that’s codeword for a giant playspace to run riot in.

We’ve caught wind of a timed obstacle course, decoding hidden messages, and the kids will even get to fiddle with the iconic Fart Gun from the movies. Those who’ve smashed all the challenges will also get a Anti-Villain League Academy badge, along with a set of Despicable Me stickers to show your love for the yellow buggers.

The kids will be able to unleash their inner Tarzan at the newly-revamped Houbii Spot (from $20). Located just a short 4-minute walk from KidzWorld in the Singapore Zoo, kids of all ages can scale obstacle courses suspended in the air.
After donning their safety harnesses, they can tackle tyre bridges, wobbly swings, and cargo nets and spend an entire afternoon monkeying about. Don’t worry, if your kid ever needs a helping hand, there’ll be friendly staff on-site to help them out. Do note that you’ll need to have a zoo ticket to access Houbii Spot.
For those little ones who didn’t get to experience the wonder of KidZania (from $58/pax) before it closed down back in 2020, well they’re in luck. The sprawling indoor theme park reopened earlier this month, and its replica town is back once again to show children the wonders of work.
Children will get to don many hats, literally, as they go about roleplaying as real-world jobs to act as pilots, firefighters, bankers, surgeons, and even Shopee couriers for the day. This one’s proving to be a real hotspot for families.
The last we checked, they’re fully booked for the rest of May, so you’ll want to snag your spot ASAP on the KidZania website for June.
While school’s out, take this chance to rest and prepare for the latter half of 2024. Who knows, perhaps you’ll find these kid-friendly things to do in June to be equally as rejuvenating for yourself as you kick back and watch the rowdy little ones do their thing.
Should you be planning a last minute trip overseas, Malaysia’s the most logical and feasible destination, so have a look at these things to do in Desaru. If you just have to head to the EU for a grecian vacation, consider these Santorini dupes near Singapore instead. Else, we’ve heard Penyabong’s a great choice for some peace and quiet.
