Straight outta Korea with 5 branches back home, Kids In The Room has opened its first branch in Singapore at Marina Square. This escape room concept is designed for families with kids aged 5 to 16, so you won’t have to worry about traumatising the little ones with creepy dolls or sudden jump scares.

The rooms are brightly lit with no locked doors for a safe and enjoyable experience. And because we know how kiasu some parents can be, you’ll be glad to know that the games are also educational. Your kiddos will get to have fun and boost their brain cells at the same time – surely a win-win.

There are 8 different escape room themes to choose from, and each one lets you and your child step into a new role. You’ll get to roleplay with costumes to match your chosen “job”.

You could be a pilot on Kidy Airlines, or an Egyptologist solving ancient mysteries. Run your own sushi joint, explore the sea as a marine scientist, or – for the aspiring idols – live out your K-pop star fantasy.

The K-pop room even teaches your child how to play the keyboard to hit song Apt by BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars.

You’ll also get to suit up in themed costumes, and this is already included in the price – no top-up needed.

Choose 2 sets of costumes for photo-taking and snap all the shots to help your child remember the day they became a mini pilot, sushi chef, or K-pop star.


How much do tickets cost?

Tickets to Kids In The Room start from $32 per child and $11 per adult. Each ticket lets you enjoy a bundle deal which includes a range of activities, so you won’t be able to purchase standalone tickets. Take note that an adult must tag along for children aged 12 years old and below.

You’ll first design your own passport, followed by a pre-game briefing, 2 escape room games, 2 sets of costumes, and even a super power ball play session during the interval to keep your munchkins entertained.

Collect 8 stamps in your passport across different visits, and you’ll score a little reward.
