You Can Get $8 Return Vouchers From FairPrice & Giant To Save On Groceries This CNY

FairPrice & Giant Chinese New Year return vouchers

We’ve just 1 week left until Chinese New Year, and to prep for the incoming waves of visitors to our houses, trips to the local supermarket to stock up on CNY essentials are in order. If you’re planning to make your grocery runs soon, consider shopping at either FairPrice or Giant this festive season.

That’s because you’ll be able to shave a couple of bucks off your next visit back as they’re handing out return vouchers when shoppers hit a minimum spend at their supermarkets. Here’s all you need to know about snagging some of your own.

How to redeem FairPrice’s CNY return vouchers?

From now till 16th February 2026, those who chose to do their grocery shopping at any FairPrice, FairPrice Finest, or FairPrice Xtra supermarket islandwide can get an $8 return voucher with every $100 spent in a single receipt in-store. You can get a maximum of 4 of them per transaction, which means you can accumulate up to $32 in return vouchers.

Moreover, this promotion is valid with any form of payment method, which means you can also use your CDC supermarket vouchers for even more savings. These return vouchers can only be used a day after you receive them, till 3rd March 2026. However, they have no minimum spend requirement, and multiple vouchers can be used in a single transaction.

Do note that certain products do not contribute to the qualifying spend amount needed to redeem the vouchers, such as cigarettes, statutory items, gift vouchers and cards, and magazines, to name a few. This promo is also not valid for any online purchases.

How to redeem Giant’s CNY return vouchers?

Giant is also running a similar promotion as we speak. From now till 16th February 2026 at all Giant stores, you’ll get an $8 return voucher upon racking up a minimum of $80 spent in a single receipt, limited to one redemption per customer.

You’ll also be able to use your CDC supermarket vouchers to meet the minimum spend, but these vouchers can only be used from 17th February to 31st March 2026. Just like FairPrice’s promotion, you won’t be able to purchase certain items like tobacco and cigarettes, infant milk powder, and consumer electronics to hit the minimum spend to get the return vouchers.

Get your groceries at FairPrice & Giant for some savings this CNY

Should you be playing host to both family and friends this CNY season, doing your grocery shopping at FairPrice or Giant might be the right choice. You’ll be stocking up on plenty of hotpot ingredients, festive snacks, and cleaning supplies, so hitting the minimum spend required to get their return vouchers shouldn’t pose too much of a challenge.
