Whether you’ve dreamt of being Dominic Toretto or Takumi Fujiwara, we’re here to tell you that you can get one step closer to that fantasy at Dorifto, opening on 16th April at Velocity @ Novena Square.
Before you drift away, here’s everything you need to know about the indoor e-drift spot:
As mentioned, Dorifto can be found at Velocity @ Novena Square, but to be more specific, you’ll want to head up to Carpark Level 6A of the mall, which is connected to Novena MRT Station.
To get here, take the lift up to Level 6B, then walk half a floor down.
Now that that’s out of the way, here’s how much it costs to try drifting right here in Singapore – driver’s license not necessary.

Each session gets you 8 minutes of drift time on the track.
You can also buy package sessions at 5 sessions for $115, or 10 sessions for $220 – the most value-for-money option, which works out to $22 per pop. You can share these packages, which are valid for both peak and off-peak time slots.
We’re no experts on this matter, but Dorifto is said to have a touge-style track set up, and what looks like storefront replicas of shops from the Initial D franchise.
For the uninitiated, touge is pronounced toh-geh, transliterated from the Japanese term tōge, which means mountain pass. If you think of Initial D or Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, you’ll recall the narrow, winding mountain roads with hairpin turns which the characters had to take at neckbreaking speeds.
There aren’t any mountains on Carpark 6A at Velocity @ Novena Square, but you can expect similarly tight turns – suitable for drivers of all levels.
Fans of Initial D will know what it means to have both the Toyota AE86 and Mazda RX-7 as part of the line-up of vehicles you’ll get behind the wheels of at Dorifto.
Of course, you won’t be driving actual cars, but bumper car versions, calibrated to produce the same sort of drifting you can expect from the real deal.
After all the exhilaration, cool off with a drink; there are plenty of directors’ chairs available where you can watch others drift, or wait for your next session.
For starters, replenish those salts with a Nitro Soda ($2.30), an isotonic drink, or stick to the theme and have a Dorifto Cola ($2.30). Alternatively, you could enjoy a Touge Milk Tea ($2.80) or Redline Tea ($2.50).
It’s alright even if you haven’t passed your driving test, and it’s cool if you’re looking for a new weekend thing to do with your kids, because whichever the case, rain or shine, you can definitely drive at Dorifto.
