Cj Hendry Brings Free Flower Market To Gardens By The Bay Alongside Her Juju World Inflatable Playground

Cj Hendry’s Flower Market & JuJu World

Art exhibitions can sometimes feel a bit atas and intimidating, but this upcoming pop-up at Gardens by the Bay looks more like stepping into a giant toy box. Australian artist Cj Hendry is bringing not one but 2 colourful experiences to Singapore this June, including a free flower market made entirely of plush flowers and a giant inflatable playground inspired by collectible toys.

Cj Hendry’s Flower Market and JuJu World will take over IMBA Theatre for a limited time, giving Singaporeans yet another reason to plan a weekend outing that’s more interesting than the usual cafe hop.

What is Cj Hendry’s Flower Market about?

Cj Hendry’s Flower Market lands in Southeast Asia for the first time

From 10th to 14th June 2026, visitors can check out Flower Market, an immersive installation that previously drew massive crowds in cities like New York, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and Sydney.

The setup transforms IMBA Theatre into a whimsical flower stand filled with tens of thousands of plush flowers. Think pasar malam flower shop energy, except everything is oversized, soft, and extra photogenic.

Unlike traditional art exhibitions, where touching things is a no-go, this one is designed to be interactive. Visitors are encouraged to walk around, pick flowers, and build their own bouquet to bring home.

What can you expect at Cj Hendry’s Flower Market?

You’ll find Cj Hendry’s Flower Market at IMBA Theatre’s Gallery. Pre-registrations are closed, but feel free to walk in. That said, do expect a queue to enter – stay up to date on IMBA’s Instagram page for queue updates during the event.

P.S. The entire market is indoors and air-conditioned, so take this as an opportunity to escape the sweltering heat too.

As you step through the doors, you’ll get to pick up a shopping bag before you browse through the floral collection. Of course, if you’d rather hold on to your flowers and plan out your bouquet on the go, feel free to skip the bag.

You’ll be greeted with rows and rows of adorable plush flowers, in different varieties and colours.

With over 30 flower blooms to pick from, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to crafting your perfect bouquet.

Keep your eyes peeled for 8 Singaporeexclusive flowers, available only in this edition of the Flower Market – just spot the “Singapore Exclusive” pickets among the blooms.

Bring home local flora like the Raffles’ Pitcher Plant and Singapore Ginger Flower. And of course, you can’t forget the Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim, our national flower.

Once you’ve completed your selection, make your way to the cashier, where the friendly staff will help pack your blooms in a bouquet holder.

Every visitor can take home 1 complimentary flower, but every additional flower in your bouquet will set you back $7 each. And if the flowers weren’t enough, you can cop other merch too, such as a tote bag ($13), cap ($59), or a T-shirt ($70).

What is Cj Hendry’s Juju World about?

JuJu World is basically a giant inflatable playground for adults

Following Flower Market, IMBA Theatre will debut JuJu World from 20th June to 18th July 2026.

The experience is built around Cj Hendry’s JuJu collectible series, which features quirky toy-like characters that look equal parts cute and chaotic. This marks the world’s first inflatable experience dedicated to the collection.

The Singapore edition will also introduce an exclusive yellow colourway for the JuJu series, alongside limited large-sized JuJus that can only be found here during the run. Once the event ends, these pieces will not be sold elsewhere.

While organisers have yet to reveal the full layout of the inflatable installation, visitors can expect larger-than-life spaces designed to feel playful and surreal rather than your standard museum-style exhibit.

In short, this one sounds less like stepping inside a giant bouncy fever dream. Quite shiok for content, honestly.

Why are people talking about Cj Hendry?

For those unfamiliar with the artist, Cj Hendry is known internationally for creating hyperrealistic drawings and immersive installations that blur the line between fine art and pop culture.

Her exhibitions tend to go viral online because they are highly visual and interactive, making them approachable even for people who are not regular gallery-goers. Instead of standing behind barriers, many of her installations encourage visitors to participate directly in the experience.

That accessibility is also part of why IMBA Theatre partnered with her for this showcase in Singapore.

Is JuJu World ticketed?

Yes, JuJu World is a paid experience. Ticket details are expected to be released closer to launch.

The Flower Market is free to enter, though!

Singapore has seen more immersive experiences popping up lately, but this double feature at IMBA Theatre feels especially geared towards casual visitors who just want a fun day out with good photo ops. Between free plush flowers, giant inflatables, and exclusive collectibles, Cj Hendry’s Singapore debut looks set to attract everyone from art lovers to content creators and curious kakis looking for something different to do this June.

Those planning to visit may want to register early before the queue situation becomes the next hot topic on TikTok.
