Chingay 2021 Mama Shop
While Chingay festivals may often bring to mind colourful floats and whimsical parades, this year sings a slightly different tune with the event going online instead. Satisfy your shopping cravings while doing good with their first-ever edition of the Chingay 2021 Mama Shop, hosted on Lazada.
Running from now till 31st March 2021, the e-shop offers a bunch of local brands to shop from and the opportunity to donate to the less fortunate while you’re at it.
Shop accessories, activewear and handmade products
CNY may be over but doesn’t mean the shopping has to end. Chingay Mama Shop has more than 36 merchants and social enterprises listed on their site for online shopping galore.

Most of the products are from local brands, so hop on board the #supportlocal bandwagon and browse through their listings of everything from clothes to coffee beans.
Featured on their site are boutique brands like YOF Athletica, Revved Athleisure and Yumi Active for yoga pants and sports bras to get that exercise schedule back on track. Find accessories from Chomel, Michael Trio and SK Jewellery – or if you’re into ceramic jewellery and homeware that’s been all the rage lately, there’s also IG store The Clay Day.

You’ll also spot social enterprises selling lifestyle products and tickets to farm tours. Bettr Coffee Co. will be selling coffee beans and dripper sets to fuel you through the weekdays, while empowering marginalised women in Singapore. Meanwhile, Yellow Ribbon Fund is on board with art and lifestyle products like pottery and greeting cards to support ex-offenders.

Proceeds go to the less-fortunate

It isn’t all about self-indulgent shopping as each purchase will channel donations towards those who need it. About 10% of proceeds go to various charity organisations such as the Community Development Council (CDC), Yellow Ribbon Fund and Daughters of Tomorrow, depending on which store you purchase from.
