Chinatown Point Has Sure-Win White Rabbit Prizes, A Mooncake Fair & Mass Lantern Walk This Mid-Autumn

Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival at Chinatown Point

Mark your calendars – this year, Mid-Autumn Festival (MAF) will fall on 6th October 2025. Traditionally held to mark the Autumn Equinox, or the gathering of friends and family at the annual harvest, it’s now a time to celebrate with family dinners, mooncakes, and lanterns.

As you get ready for 6th October, make Chinatown Point one of the pitstops. Bring your fam along too, to enjoy mooncake samples as you shop, and ogle the mall’s first-ever MAF glow-up.

There’s always an excuse to go shopping, and Mid-Autumn Festival is no exception. You’ve got traditional baked mooncakes with nuts or without, single- or double-yolked, and snowskin mooncakes in every trendy flavour combination you can think of – then there’s all the different hotels, restaurants and bakeries who want a slice of the pie.

Of course, you’ll have to sample it all to find your favourite, and the Mid-Autumn Fair at Chinatown Point is just the place to get that done. This year’s edition sees more than 15 brands gathered at the Level 1 Indoor Atrium of the mall, retailing everything from mooncakes to piggy biscuits and lanterns, and all the little extra goodies in between.

Running from 22nd September-5th October, this Mid-Autumn Fair will play host to popular mooncake makers including Gin Thye and Mdm Ling Bakery.

15% off handcrafted brass Monkey King figurines

Black Myth: Wukong figurines

Gamer or not, you’ll have to be living under a rock to not have heard of Black Myth: Wukong, the Chinese video game that’s taken the world by storm. For a centrepiece at home that celebrates your love for the Destined One, without being too obvious, check out the Wukong series at ZenBron, which is going for 15% off from 20th September-6th October.

Handcrafted by 4th-generation artisan Zhu Bingren, coined “the founder of contemporary copper architecture in China”, who specialises in using molten bronze to create lifelike works of art, these collector’s items come in all styles, from cute to regal.

You won’t want to miss the Great Victory Pen Set, which is going for an additional 15% off the sale price of $58 – it comes with a solid brass pen and 4 ink refills too.

Mooncakes

You can even get a head start on stocking up for the festival before the Mid-Autumn Fair begins, with in-store promos at the mall’s tenants that you can enjoy. There’s Thye Moh Chan, whose Teochew-style pastries have been winning hearts since 1943 – their mooncake sets (from $46.80 for 4 mooncakes) are going at 15% off from now till 21st September. You can cop these at Toast Box and BreadTalk too.

Starbucks mooncake flavours

If perhaps you’d like something a little more modern, Starbucks has got your back, with 8 different mooncakes in flavours like Yuzu Pistachio, Starbucks Pure Matcha Mochi and Black Sesame Mochi. You can even buy them individually, at $6.90 a piece, or in a Gift Box ($69.90), which holds 8 baked mooncakes.

Peach Garden

Chinese restaurant Peach Garden needs little introduction, and they’re offering 10% off all their mooncakes, including the Premium Mao Shan Wang Durian Snowskin Mooncake ($96.14, U.P. $106.82 for 4) and the zesty, refreshing Lemon Yuzu Mooncake ($71.61, U.P. $79.57 for 4).

They also have low-sugar options, such as the Low-Sugar Pandan-infused White Lotus Mooncake with Macadamia, and White Lotus Mooncake with either 1 or 2 yolks, as well as the Low Sugar Black and White Sesame Mooncake. These are available from $17.90 instead of the usual price of $19.89 for 1.

Wing Joo Long teabags

With all of that indulgence, you’ll want to wash it down with a cuppa tea. Wing Joo Loong comes in clutch with their American Ginseng Teabags, now going at a 1-for-1 deal so you’re getting 18 teabags for $35.

Bask in Mid-Autumn light-ups

To get into the mood, you’ll want to visit Chinatown Point from 18th September-20th October. For the first time, the mall is set to be done up in festive lights and decor, like an extension of the Chinatown light-ups on Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road.

It promises to be transformed into a Mid-Autumn wonderland, so mark the dates and bring the family along for the experience.

Take part in a Mass Lantern Walk in Chinatown

In the name of coming together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, consider signing up for a Mass Lantern Walk in Chinatown, happening on 27th September from 6pm-9pm. Registration for the Lantern Walk is $5 a participant, and comes with a free lantern set

Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 at Chinatown Point

Chinatown Point

Like every other festival, Mid-Autumn only comes once a year – and with that, we’re into the last quarter of 2025. You definitely deserve to sit back, keep an eye out for Chang’e on the moon, eat those mooncakes, and have a good time with your family and friends at Chinatown Point’s Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.
