With the festive season upon us, it’s all about the never-ending shopping and feasting. If you’re a sucker for pop-up markets and festival food, it’s time to mark your calendars for CHIJMES’ Christmas Market, happening daily from 15 to 24 December 2017.

Take care of your Christmas shopping here and you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice with the endless variety of goodies and treats you can find here for your loved ones this holiday season – like quirky cake pops, eccentric chocolate truffle flavours, and artisanal leather goods. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the goodies they’ll have on offer:

1. Shaun Teo Creations


Whimsical Cake Pops by Shaun Teo Creations

At just $6/pop, you’ll be treated to these whimsical Christmas-themed cake pops that are just too pretty to eat. With its perfectly moist cake that’s been coated with white chocolate and adorned in adorable designs, it’s almost impossible to pass this up while you’re there!

If you’ve always been a fan of Shaun Teo’s signature cake pops, take delight in knowing that his classic faves, the Unicorn and Mermaid designs, will be made available at his booth as well.

2. Common Chefs

Famed for their Truffle Tater Tots ($6 for small, $10 for large), this bistro + bakery will be dishing up their rave-worthy popular side, assorted macarons, alongside bottles of Truffle Oil – perfect gift for house parties this holiday season – at the market!

Also look forward to ushering in the festive season with their addictive newly launched platter, Lock N’ Loaded ($12) – featuring a bed of tater tots, smothered in cheddar cheese sauce and topped with a sunny-side up, bacon bits, and freshly chopped American onions.

We’re talking about about their signature Taco Pastor (pork or chicken), Quesadillas (pork or chicken), and Burrito (pork or chicken) – all priced at $10 each.

4. Molten Lava SG

Molten Lava SG has made a name for itself with its warm, rich and decadent gooey molten centre that explodes as soon as you tear the cake apart. With flavours like Pure Chocolate, Matcha, Earl Grey, and Salted Egg Chocolate, this addictive dessert will make it impossible for you to stop at just one.

5. Ned’s Crepes

Whether you prefer light snacks or sweet desserts, you’re bound to find something that’ll tickle your fancy at Ned’s Crepes’ booth. They pride themselves on their soft chewy French crepes with flavours like Choco Berry and Choco Nana.

If you prefer crispy treats, opt for the unique Cheesy Moo Moo crepe or S’mores Special crepe instead – that’s crepe filled with melted marshmallow, topped with shortbread crumbs and drizzled in Hershey’s chocolate sauce.

Demochoco has earned a reputation for both its familiar and eccentric chocolate truffle flavours that are guaranteed to satiate your cravings for all things chocolate. Choose from an array of 4 different assortments – their Christmas Range, Signature Collection, Seasonal Flavours or Bars.

Happening every day from 15 to 24 December 2017, you won’t just be busy dropping ‘em dollar bills as you check off your Christmas shopping list – the tasty bites that are almost too pretty to eat will have you taking up all your time snapping photos too.
